Two Eliminations at Table 31

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Dzmitry Urbanovich
Dzmitry Urbanovich

Michael Sideridis opened to 18,000 and called a shove from Dzmitry Urbanovich for the Polish player's last 118,000. Sideridis was behind with {a-}{k-} against the {9-Spades}{8-Spades} of Urbanovich, who picked up a pair of nines on the flop. However, Sideridis rivered a flush to eliminate Urbanovich.

On the very next hand, Benedikt Eberle moved all in for 50,000 from under the gun. Jarryd Godena called and the remaining players folded.

Benedikt Eberle: {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Jarryd Godena: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Godena flopped a pair on the {2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop and although Eberle picked up a gutshot on the {3-Clubs} turn, the river was the {k-Spades} and the former Opening Event champion was eliminated.

Sanchez Doubles Again

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Robert Sanchez shoved for about 170,000 in the big blind over a raised by Yin Liu on the button. Liu tanked a bit and called the shove with {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} but was well behind {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. The {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop gave Sanchez some cards to fade, but the {q-Diamonds} and {9-Clubs} ran out clean for him.

Jeff Madsen: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Simen Gulbrandsen: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Spades} board brought no help for Madsen and he departed in 63rd place.

Hoang Doubles Through Eberle

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Benedikt Eberle opened to 18,000 and Manig Loeser called. Ngoc Tai Hoang three-bet to 83,000 from the big blind and Eberle was the only caller.

Hoang continued for 100,000 on the {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop and Eberle raised all in. Hoang called and was all in for 285,000.

Ngoc Tai Hoang: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Benedikt Eberle: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Hoang was in bad shape against the set of Eberle, but received instant gratification as the {k-Clubs} turn gave him a straight. The river was the {6-Spades} and he doubled up to leave Eberle short.

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

After an open to 17,000 from Dingxiang Ong and a call from Bryce Yockey, Thomas Fairrie shoved for about 30,000 in the small blind. Ong reraised to 100,000, only for Yockey to set him in. Ong folded fairly quickly.

Fairrie: {a-}{9-}
Yockey: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} board gave Fairrie the main pot, while Yockey profited a bit in the side.

Terence Clee

Terence Clee had already been eliminated right after coming back from the break when his ace-ten was no good, Mike Del Vecchio scored the knockout with ace-king suited.

One table over, Wei Low jammed the button for 95,000 and he was called by Simen Gulbrandsen in the big blind.
