Escherich Adds to Chip Lead

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Nicholas Verderamo opened to 2,600 from late position, and Andrew Porter called on the button. Daniel Escherich defended his big blind, and the three saw a flop of QJ3.

Action checked through, and the 3 turn checked over to Porter. He threw out a single T-5,000 chip into the middle, and Escherich called. Verderamo let his cards go.

Escherich checked for a third time on the 7 river, and Porter opted for 11,000 as his sizing. His opponent took quite some time before announcing "all in." Frustrated, Porter returned his cards to the dealer.

Lebrun Puts Meza-Rivera to the Test

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Joseph Lebrun opened to 2,000 on the button, and Mijael Meza-Rivera defended his big blind.

On a flop of Q6K, Meza-Rivera check-called a bet of 1,700 from his opponent. The turn was the K and he check-called again, this time for 4,500.

The dealer put out the 5 on the river, and Meza-Rivera checked for a third time. Lebrun slid 25,000 into the middle, enough to put his opponent all in, and it sent him deep into the tank. After around two minutes, he took another look at his cards before letting them go.

In the meantime, both Brock Wilson and Travis Egbert re-entered.

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Joseph Lebrun opened to 2,000 from late position, and table short stack Blake Vogdes went into the tank. Sat in the cutoff, he took around a minute before deciding to lay his hand down. Button player Alex Queen moved all in, the blinds folded, and Lebrun snapped the bet off.

Alex Queen: A9 All in
Joseph Lebrun: AA

Vogdes celebrated upon seeing that he had avoided Lebrun's hand, and the 85K83 runout had Queen dead on the turn.

Hamlet Turns the Nuts on Wilson

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Brock Wilson
Brock Wilson

Action folded to Darren Elias in late position, who opened to 1,800. Both Brock Wilson in the small blind and Brandon Hamlet in the big blind put in the call, leading the three a flop of 9A6.

Elias threw out a continuation-bet of 1,800 when checked to, which was called by both Wilson and Hamlet. The 7 peeled off on the turn, and Wilson opted to lead out for 3,000. Hamlet called; Elias didn't.

The J river was then dealt, and Wilson checked it over to his opponent. Hamlet moved all in, and Wilson snap-called, tabling his 66 for a flopped set. However, he had been outdrawn on the turn, as Hamlet held 108 for the nuts, to send Wilson to the rail.
