Reslock Triples Up with Big Slick

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Chris Reslock
Chris Reslock

Chris Reslock (sb) was all-in holding Big Slick against a bigger stack and a smaller stack, both of whom had {a-}{q-}.

The board came {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Reslock scooped it all, felting the shorter stack in the process. He's up to ~200,000.

Al-Keliddar Chipping Up

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Yaser Al-Keliddar
Yaser Al-Keliddar

Yaser Al-Keliddar took home his first WSOP bracelet during the 2018 series, earning $154,338 in the $3,000 Limit Hold'em SixMax. The Virginia resident has cashed in a couple of Borgata events in the past, but is still working on his first deep run.

He's chipping up slowly but surely here today, so we'll keep an eye on him.

Aces Good for Gambino

Level 11 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Joseph Gambino
Joseph Gambino

Joseph Gambino's pocket Aces held up and he felted his opponent, picking up a nice pot.

He's now playing close to 400,000 and among the bigger stacks in the room.

Taylor Takes One Out with Tens

Level 11 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Esther Taylor
Esther Taylor

Esther Taylor took her seat during the break with 40,000 chips.

On the first hand she played, Seat 1 was all-in with {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} against Taylor's {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

The flop of {a-}{3-}{3-} gave her opponent Aces-up and the lead and the {k-} turn changed nothing.

Then a ten on the river gave Taylor tens-full and the pot, busting her opponent and effectively doubling her stack — on her first hand.

Gone Before the Break

Level 11 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Mark Steinberg
Mark Steinberg

Ryan Steinberg just turned 21 earlier this year and he's already won a Borgata tournament and finished runner-up in another. He took first in the May Deepstacks Challenge $300 NLH for $8,738. Then in August he took second in the $180 Summer Heater NLH event for $23,908.

He started Day 2 in good shape with 80,200, but got all-in with pocket aces against pocket tens. A ten on the flop sent him to the rail. Ryan is the son or Mark Steinberg, who is still in this event. Mark has numerous final table appearances at Borgata, but has yet to take home a title in a reported event.

Greg Bock has also had a bad start today. He had a shorter stack all-in with pocket Jacks against his pocket Kings. He got jacked on the river and his opponent doubled up with a set. He was left short and got his last chips in with trips against a gutshot, which got there. Bock was busted before the break.
