After several small pots in a row accompanied by very animated table talk at the helms of Nicholas Palma who wasn't involved in any of the action, Samuel Ick maintained his large stack alongside John McDonald.
Joe McKeehen then arrived as his previous table broke and he called the preflop shove by Allison Stoloff for 24,500.
Stoloff grabbed her phone to record showdown and Palma said "oh no, she got the camera out, don't do it" just as the cards were turned over.

That all changed on the 9♥7♣4♥ flop when McKeehen improved to a set.
On the 9♠ turn, Palma asked for another nine but the 8♥ river was a brick for Stoloff to depart.
Dave Stefanski raised to 4,000 in the hijack before Eun Joo moved all in for 25,000 in the cutoff. Maxwell Young then reshoved in the small blind, and Stefanski folded.

Mann quickly fell behind as the Q♦2♦4♠ flop gave Pandya the lead with top pair. The rest of the board ran out 5♠9♠, and Mann was sent to the rail.
Three ways to the K♣8♥5♣7♥ turn, Brandon Lulov bet 12,000 out of the small blind and collected the pot when Mike Linster in the cutoff and Ricardo Eyzaguirre on the button folded.
Table big stack Samuel Ick then opened to 4,000 in late position and Lulov made it 11,000 to go in the cutoff, after which everyone behind folded.
Four players went to a flop of 4♣K♥K♦ where MG bet 4,000 from the cutoff. Mike Dentale called under the gun, as did Joel Mitchell in the hijack.
All three players checked the 8♠ turn. Mitchell then bet 6,000 on the 4♥ river, and only Dentale called.

On the river of a J♥9♣2♥5♠A♥ board, Maurice Hawkins bet only 2,000. Kaifan Wang then raised to 35,000 with around 20,000 behind and Hawkins folded.
In the meanwhile, Matthew Zambanini was eliminated by Samuel Ick and Sachin Ramrakhani also left the tournament area.
A player accidentally took a seat at Dave Stefanski's table and was dealt a hand before it was noticed he should've been at another table. While the floor was moving him, James Cole on the button and big blind Dave Stefanski got all their chips in the middle before the flop.

"You're running good with those aces today, Dave," Cole said after finding out his kings had run into two aces. The board ran out J♦7♦3♥5♣5♠, and Stefanski secured the pot.
The stacks were counted down and Stefanski doubled up for 94,000, leaving Cole with just 1,500. "Floor, all that bulls**t that just happened, I should get a free buy in at least," Cole pleaded, but an official told him it was just an unfortunate mistake.
Angel Lopez pushed all-in for the last 19,500 on the button and Mike Linster in the big blind made sure that big stack Samuel Ick in the small blind had folded before he moved forward his chips as well.
