$30,000 Super High Roller
Day 1 Completed
The $30,000 Super High Roller began with just three players registered at the opening bell, but as the early levels unfolded, the field slowly grew. One by one, players trickled into the exclusive high-stakes area of the 2025 BSOP Super High Roller Series here at the WTC Sheraton in São Paulo and took their seats.
Within a few levels, the tables had filled up, and the action was in full swing. A late-night flurry of entries and reentries saw the numbers rise rapidly, and by the time play wrapped for the night, there had been a total of 31 entries, with only 11 surviving the day to advance to Day 2.
Leading the way, Rodrigo Selouan bagged the biggest stack of the day, finishing with 1,850,000—good for 93 big blinds when Day 2 begins. He built steadily throughout the day, and a late-night knockout of Martin Kabrhel on Kabrhel’s first bullet helped propel him to the top of the overnight leaderboard.
Not even two big blinds behind the chipleader, Andre Akkari ended the day with 1,820,000. The PokerStars Team Pro got off to a fast start and never looked back, spending the whole day among the chip leaders.
Rounding out the podium spots, the ever-charismatic Kabrhel made the most of his re-entry in the penultimate level, finishing with 1,245,000 for the third-biggest stack. His late-night rampage included a seismic clash with Thiago Crema, seeing Kabrhel finish the night with a seven-figure stack.

| 1 | Rodrigo Selouan | Brazil | 1,850,000 | 93 |
| 2 | Andre Akkari | Brazil | 1,820,000 | 91 |
| 3 | Martin Kabrhel | Czechia | 1,245,000 | 62 |
| 4 | Rodrigo Seiji | Brazil | 735,000 | 37 |
| 5 | Thiago Crema | Brazil | 430,000 | 22 |

| 8 | Leonardo Rizzo | Brazil | 280,000 | 14 |
| 9 | Zdenek Zizka | Czechia | 250,000 | 13 |
| 10 | Ivan Luca | Argentina | 235,000 | 12 |
| 11 | Mehdi Chaoui | Morocco | 150,000 | 7 |
After winning the $20,000 Super High Roller earlier in the day, Mehdi Chaoui wasted no time entering the next available Super High Roller event. It proved to be a more turbulent ride, but on his third entry, he found some traction and managed to hold on in the latter stages to bag 150,000 for Day 2.
However, not all who tried triumphed; in a field packed with firepower, players such as Masato Yokosawa, Joao Simao, Vladimir Minko, Pedro Padilha, and Alisson Piekazewicz fell short of advancing.
All hope isn’t lost, though — late registration and re-entry remain open to all players until the start of Day 2, and the field is expected to grow before registration officially closes.
Action is scheduled to resume at 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, November 18th, with play picking up in Level 13 at blinds of 10,000/20,000 and a 20,000 big blind ante.

Play has concluded for Day 1, with 11 players bagging chips to progress.
Stay tuned for the full chip counts and a recap of today's action.
Martin Kabrhel raised to 32,000 on the button before seeing Thiago Crema three-bet to 112,000 from the small blind. When the action was back on Kabrhel, he four-bet to 199,000, and Crema called.
The dealer spread a 10♦4♦3♥ flop, which saw Crema check-raise Kabrhel's bet of 56,000 to 138,000. Kabrhel called, and they headed to a turn card.
That card was the 7♠, and when Crema checked, Kabrhel bet 142,000. Without much of a pause, Crema set Kabrhel all in for 284,000 total.
Kabrhel called, and the cards were flipped over.
Martin Kabrhel: Q♠Q♥
Thiago Crema: A♦10♣
The 5♥ river bore no effect, seeing Kabrhel scoop in a huge double up in one of the final hands of the day.

The tournament clock has been paused, and the tournament director has advised that three more hands will be played before the remaining players bag their chips.
Ottomar Ladva raised to 32,000 from the cutoff, and Ivan Luca called in the big blind.
Ladva continued for 25,000 on the K♦6♦10♣ flop, which Luca check-called.
The turn added the A♠ to the board, and this time, when Ladva bet again for 55,000, Luca folded.
