2025 BSOP Super High Roller Series
With roughly 22,500 already in the pot and a 2♠4♦K♦3♦2♣ board face up on the felt, Jose Valerio checked over to Allan Mello from the big blind.
Mello, on the button, put 23,000 into the middle, which was met with a check-raise to 76,000.
After some consideration, Mello folded, using his one-time 'Winner Showdown' card, in order to see what Valerio had raised with.
Valerio flipped over K♣2♥.

Masato Yokosawa opened to 2,000 from under the gun, which only Daniel Vicente called in the big blind.
When the dealer spread a K♥5♣K♠ flop, Vicente checked, Yokosawa bet 1,700, Vicente raised to 5,100, and Yokosawa called.
Both players then checked on the A♦ turn.
Vicente assembled a bet of 32,000 on the 6♦ river, which gave Yokosawa pause for thought.
After a moment or two of consideration, Yokosawa folded.
Andrea Quadros opened to 2,000 in the cutoff before being three-bet by Ivan Luca in the small blind. Luca had put 7,400 into the middle, but Eduardo Pires then put in a four-bet from the big blind.
Both Quadros and Luca quickly folded, and Pires pulled in the pot.
The action was joined as Ademar Alves had manoeuvred his whole stack into the middle against another player, and the cards were being turned over.
With the full runout showing A♦7♥J♠9♣J♥, both players were sure they had the winning hand, but only Alves was correct.
His opponent flipped over A♥A♣ for a full house, but Alves was holding J♦J♣ for rivered quads.
A jubilant Alves scooped in the pot with a huge smile on his face.
Last year’s BSOP Millions series was the largest poker festival ever held in Latin America. The biggest prize was the R$25,000 BSOP Millions Championship as 503 players built a prize pool of R$11,081,150 and a first prize of R$2,140,000.
Marcos Kenne led wire-to-wire on his way to defeating Paulo Goncalves heads-up to take home the biggest prize of his poker career.
“Man, I’ve been trying for a long time to win a big title like this to see if I could dedicate more time to the game. I have another job and other responsibilities. But I kept coming close, and it just didn’t happen. I said, ‘God has the right moment for everything.’ And it happened now,” Kenne said following his victory.

Seeing a raise to 2,100 from the player under the gun, and one caller ahead of him, Humberto Galindo moved all in from the big blind for roughly 43,000.
Each of his opponents folded, seeing Galindo pull in the pot uncontested.
Allan Mello opened to 2,000 on the button before calling a three-bet to 5,500 from Andrea Quadros in the small blind.
When the 3♥2♥8♦ flop hit the felt, Quadros continued for another 5,500. Mello had no interest and returned his cards to the dealer.
