Marcos Kenne, the 2024 BSOP Championship winner, has joined the field early on Day 1b.
Seeing a raise in early position and two callers, Paulo Goncalves three-bet to 7,600 from the big blind. All three players called, including Guilherme Ferreira in the small blind.
The dealer spread a monotone 3♠10♠9♠ flop, which saw Ferreira check and Goncalves bet 15,000. When the two players in between folded, Ferreira check-raised to 45,000, and Goncalves snap-jammed all in. Ferriera called, and the cards were revealed.
Paulo Goncalves: J♦J♣
Guilherme Ferreira: Q♠J♠
There was no coming back for Goncalves, as the 2♣ turn and 4♦ river completed the board.
