Joel Verbeck was heard announcing a reraise all in from early position and Danny Gonzales was happy to commit his remaining 14,600 from the small blind.
Joel Verbeck:
Danny Gonzales:
Verbeck found his ace-queen up against the pocket aces of Gonzales and was in need of some serious help in order to avoid doubling up Gonzales. The flop came to give him three outs at Broadway, but Gonzales remained on top as the turn and river hit the felt.
Chris Tryba opened to 800 from under the gun and received a call from the player two to his left. All remaining players folded and the flop came . Tryba fired a continuation-bet of 1,500 and his opponent called.
The turn fell and Tryba flung out another 4,500. His opponent folded and he raked in the pot.
Four players went to a flop of with just shy of 30,000 in the pot from preflop action. The small blind checked, putting action onto Nick Pupillo, who was in middle position and also checked. Next to act was Joe Bartholdi and he checked to the cutoff, who was the final player in the hand and bet 15,000.
The small blind quickly folded and action was then back on Pupillo, who put out chips to call. Bartholdi folded to take action heads up to the turn . Pupillo checked again and his opponent checked behind.
The river fell and Pupillo asked to see his opponent's stack. He then threw out a bet of 15,000, just shy of an effective all-in bet. The cutoff thought for a bit and then verbalized a call.
Pupillo tabled for a flopped set of aces and raked in the massive pot, bringing him up near the top of the leader board as Level 5 comes to a close.
Steve Wilkie had appeared to lost a relatively small amount of chips before getting involved in a recent pot.
Terry Harper limped in from early position and a player in middle position limped behind. The hijack then pumped it up to 1,500. Steve Wilkie called on the button and both Harper and the other limper stuck around.
The flop fell and action checked to Wilkie , who bet 4,000 and received three folds in short succession to bring him back to around 98,000 in chips.
Doug Jones had opened from the button and received a call from the button as a flop of was dealt. The big blind checked and Jones made a continuation-bet of 1,100. The big blind called.
The turn came and both players checked. The river then fell and the big blind checked to Jones again, who put out a bet of 2,400. The big blind looked back at his hand and tossed it to the muck.

"Seven players, yes, you heard that right, seven players," said the dealer as he fanned a flop of . The player to the left of the original raiser saw action checked to him and he bet 2,000. Jones, Dodson, and Blankenship all called, reducing the total number of players proceeding to four.
The turn came . The aggressor on the flop continued with another bet of 6,000. Jones shoved.
Dodson asked for a count, which was totaled to be 8,150. He called, prompting a fold from Blankenship before the early-position player called. Both remaining players with chips in front of them checked the river and the dealer asked for all three hands to be exposed.
Doug Jones:
Ryan Dodson:
Early Position:
Jones was in the process of getting out of his seat after tabling his hand, certain his aces and nines with a ten kicker would not be good. However, Dodson had nothing more than a straight and flush draw and the the third player had aces and sixes. Jones sat right back down with newly found life, absorbing what had just happenedas he left the pile of chips that was sent his way exactly as it came for a moment.
