Tureniec Picks Up a Pot from Liu

Eric Liu raised to 120,000 from the small blind and Michael Tureniec called from the big blind.

The flop was {K-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}. Liu led out for 150,000 and Tureniec called. The turn was the {9-Hearts} and both players checked. The river fell the {K-Spades}. Check-check again.

Tureniec turned up {J-?} {10-?}, Liu mucked, and the Swede took it down.

Marcin Horecki Doubles Though Eric Liu, Takes Chip Lead

Eric Liu raised to 120,000 from the button and Marcin Horecki called from the big blind.

The flop was {K-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn brought the {Q-Hearts}. Horecki checked again, Liu bet 200,000 and Horecki moved all in. After a bit of a think, Liu made the call.

Horecki {K-Hearts} {10-Clubs}
Liu {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts}

It was top pair vs. the straight and flush draws as we went to the river. It was the {5-Clubs}, no help for Liu and Horecki doubled to 2,162,000.

Horecki is your new chip leader, while Liu is down to 2,006,000.

The Quiet Four

With Philippe D'Auteuil's departure, all of his rowdy railbirds have left the final table area since they went off to raise hell and run up a massive bar tab, which is not very hard to do in the various watering holes around the greater London area. It's rather quiet scene right now as the final four are in a focused pursuit for the PokerStars.com EPT London championship.

Horecki Can't Call the Shove

Since we've been playing four-handed, Marcin Horecki has opened for a raise three times, been reraised all in three times, and made three folds.

1. Horecki opened for 140,000, Michael Tureniec moved all in from the big blind for 672,000 and Horecki folded.

2. Horecki raised to 135,000, Michael Martin shoved from the small blind and Horecki passed.

3. Horecki opened for 140,000, Michael Tureniec moved all in and Horecki gave it up again.

As a result, he's dipped below the 1 million mark, with 991,000 in his stack.

Michael Martin - 1,020,000
Marcin Horecki - 955,000

Two Americans, one Swede, and one Polish player... who will win it?

Philippe D'Auteuil Eliminated in 5th Place (£195,766)

Philippe D'Auteuil - 5th Place
Philippe D'Auteuil - 5th Place
Philippe D'Auteuil moved all in from UTG, Marcin Horecki moved all in behind him from the button and both blinds folded.

D'Auteuil {8-Clubs} {8-Spades}
Horecki {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Clubs} {7-Spades} {7-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {5-Hearts} and the young Canadian hit the rail in fifth place, no doubt off to grab some cocktails with his friends who were supporting him from the rail. He'll take home £195,766.

Down to four...
