of Jens Kyllonen, and a no-nonsense double up put him up to around 470,000.

Samer Rahman, formerly above the million chip mark, must have taken a few hits here and there -- he's down to 770,000.

Most recently he raised to 26,000 in early position, but David Robinson moved all in for around 200,000 from the big blind and a gently smiling Rahman passed.

It looks as though Jan Boubli raised first, as we arrived to see an 85,000 reraise in front of Matt Lapossie and Boubli moving all in. Lapossie thought about it, and called the extra 180,000 or so.

Just before the break Tobias Reinkemeier raised to 20,500 preflop. Georgios Kapalas made it 57,000 before the German 4-bet to 128,500.

After a long think, which took us into the break, Kapalas made the call.

The flop was {8-Spades}

and both players slowly checked.

The {J-Clubs}

on the turn was checked by Reinkemeier and after a couple of minutes of thought, Kapalas made it 125,000 and Reinkemeier folded after more thought.

Cirstea Has Some Trouble Accepting That He Is Busto

How about a sit down and a nice cup of Cirs-tea?

Constantin Ciprian Cirstea (he listed himself as both Constantin Cirstea and Ciprian Cirstea at various different times, giving the media a variety of headaches and leading to the above compromise) raised, and the newly doubled up Georgios Kapalas reraised. Cirstea pushed, and without hesitation Kapalas called.

Cirstea stood there for a moment while the dealer started to rake his chips over to Kapalas. Only then did he claim, in perhaps a last desperate attempt to stay in the tournament, that Kapalas had not had him covered. It was far too late for angle-shooting, though, and the very professional dealer calmly explained that owing to his double up a few hands before, Kapalas had had 350,000 at the start of the hand, covering Cirstea by around 100,000. Cirstea gave it up, and exited the tournament area.

With viewing becoming increasingly difficult owing to the number of random railers who, despite Thomas Kremser's best attempts to keep them out of the tournament area, keep sneaking in -- it was with a superhuman effort of standing on tiptoes and craning that we managed to witness Georgios Kapalas doubling through David Robinson, his {A-Diamonds}

staying good against Robinson's {A-Clubs}

Kapalas is now up to 325,000, while the hapless Robinson is down to less than 300,000.
