Action folded around to Marc Goodwin in the small blind. He raised to 18,000, attacking Carter Philips in the big blind. Philips checked his cards and then methodically made the call.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}

. Goodwin checked. Slowly, Philips checked behind.

The turn brought another king with the {K-Hearts}

. With a pair of kings on the board, Goodwin checked over to Philips. Philips checked behind.

The river was the {J-Diamonds}

. Goodwin checked once more. Philips made a move towards his chips, picking up 18,500 and tossing them into the middle. Goodwin took about a minute before making the call.

"You're good." said Carter, turning over {8-Spades}

. Goodwin rolled over {A-Diamonds}

for ace high and scooped the pot.

Controversial Hand At The Break.

A huge crowd gathered just before the break to watch a large pot between Tobias Reinkemeier and Roland de Wolfe.

The board read {7-Clubs}

with Reinkemeier calling a 95,000 bet on the river.

Neither player wanted to show their hands, but de Wolfe eventually said, "King-high."

"Well, show it then," said Reinkemeier. De Wolfe was highly reluctant, eventually flashing the {K-Clubs}

before pushing his cards towards the muck beneath the burn cards.

Reinkemeier then turned over his missed {Q-Clubs}

and de Wolfe immediately went to retrieve his cards from the muck and turn over his acutally ahead {K-Clubs}

.

A ruling from Thomas Kremser was quickly called for as the crowd grew more and more around the table, with both players claiming the pot should belong to them.

De Wolfe claimed that his cards were retrievable from the muck with Reinkemeier disagreeing.

Thomas Kremser spoke to the dealer for a couple of minutes before ruling in Reinkemeier's favour as de Wolfe shook his head.

The pot was then awarded to Reinkemeier while de Wolfe slips to below 200,000.
