Trong Rising

Vuong Than Trong is up close to the 2 million chip mark after pushing Rumen Nanev off a massive hand.

Nanev bet 210,000 into a 400k+ pot on the river with the board showing {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and after a few minutes deep in thought, Trong fired back, making it 400,000 more.

Nanev folded almost immediately.

Who Let the Dogs Out?

Jason Hallee and Michael Dogliano are the latest two players to fall.

Hallee ran {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} into the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} of Christian Togsverd. Hallee said he hoped for a flush but he found no help on the {8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Spades}{4-Clubs} board.

Moments later Michael Dogliani fell to Ignat Liviu. Dogliani was in good shape before the flop with {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} to the Romanian's {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. The {2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board changed all that. Most of the chips went in on the turn.

The Man from Spain is Looking to Reign

Andre Corredoira is the last Spanish player in the field and he was almost out the door. He moved all-in for 288,000 from under the gun, and was called by Kevin Vandersmissen on the button. Ignat Liviu thought about making a move from the small blind, but folded.

Corredoira: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Vandersmissen: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Corredoira found what he was looking for on the {10-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} board.

Kamikaze Kamutzki Cleaned Out

Mick Graydon made opened up for 48k and Heinz Kamutzki pushed all in for 352,000.

Graydon asked for a count, but quickly called and the hands hit the felt:

Kamutzki: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Graydon: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Graydon hit a set on the {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, but Kamutki picked up some outs on the {8-Clubs} turn.

Any six would have kept him alive, but the {2-Diamonds} river wasn't one of them and Kamutki hit the rail as Graydon pushed up to 1.4 million.

Rogez Gets a Rise Out of Castelluccio, Downs His Stack

Sergio Castelluccio messed up his remaining chips after he lost a pot to Olivier Rogez to send his stack into the danger zone.

Rogez raised to 32,000 from the cut-off and called when Castelluccio three-bet to 109,000 from the button. Rogez then took the lead as he bet 52,000 on the flop and 125,000 on the turn. He checked the river when the final board read {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

Castelluccio checked behind and was shown {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for top two-pair. Castelluccio shook his head as his Rogez celebrated.
