flop, Sondre Svanevik checked from the big blind and from UTG+1, Chris Brammer bet 1,200 and was called by Robin Stam in the hijack seat. Dominik Nitsche folded his button and Sondre Svanevik folded his big blind.
The turn was the

The turn was another king - the

Eames, grinning ear-to-ear, tabled ![]()
for quad kings.
His trap didn't work, but Eames is still among our leaders with around 78,000 chips.

I had originally had the idea to watch table 43 for an entire orbit as three former EPT Champions (Anton Wigg, Aaron Gustavson and Jason Mercier) were all sat there. The post title would've been, "A Round with the Former Champs." The title changed to what it is now after Team PokerStars Pros Johnny Lodden and Dario Minieri sat down while hand one was playing out. What a table!
Hand One:
We got to the table when Gustavson and Jason James had already built a 10k pot by the river of a ![]()

board. James led for 3,000 and tank-called when Gustavson raised to 6,500. The EPT London Season 6 winner had been caught at it with ![]()
handing the pot to James with his ![]()
.
Hand Two:
Margaux Duplantier opened to 400 and was called in three spots en route to an ![]()
![]()
flop. Duplantier checked and Wigg led for 925, only called by Dennis Kaumanns in the small blind. Wigg bet 2,000 and 3,450 on the ![]()
turn and river. His German opponent called the first bet but check-raised the river bet up to 9,500. Wigg, the EPT Copenhagen Season 7 champion, released his hand.
Hand Three:
Dario Minieri opened to 500 from under the gun and was only called by Jacob Toole in mid position. The flop came down ![]()
![]()
and Minieri continued for 600. Call. Toole took over from here and bet 1,400 and 3,800 on the ![]()
turn and river when checked to him. The Team PokerStars Pro called the turn bet before giving up on the river.
Hand Four:
Matias Ruiz Vinal limped from early position and called along with Lodden when Toole raised to 800. The flop fell ![]()
![]()
and Toole continued for 1,450. Lodden raised this up to 3,500 and took the pot as both opponents folded.
Hand Five:
Wigg took the blinds with an under the gun raise to 400.
Hand Six:
Lodden raised to 450 from the hijack and both blinds called. The Norwegian continued for for 700 on the ![]()
![]()
flop and took the pot down.
Hand Seven:
Minieri raised to 400 from the cut-off and took the blinds.
Hand Eight:
Wigg raised to 450 on the button and Toole peeled from the big blind to see a ![]()
![]()
flop that was checked through to the
turn. Toole led for 650. Call. Both players checked the
river and Toole opened ![]()
for a straight. Wigg mucked.
Hand Nine
Toole completed from the small blind but folded when Gustavson raised to 500 from the big blind.
Hand Ten:
Minieri raised to 400 and was only called by Duplantier in the next seat. The Italian continued for 500 on the ![]()
![]()
and Duplantier called. Both players checked through the ![]()
turn and river. Minieri opened ![]()
and lost out to the French lady's ![]()
.
Mercier was very quiet while we were there. That because he was too busy winning chunks playing $50/$100 PLO on the PokerStars Mobile App.

There was a raise to 575 from early position, and five callers, including Jonatan Hellman and Mike Gagliano. Sergej Barbarez, who won his entry into this tournament via a live satellite, squeezed out of the small blind, raising to 3,250.
The original raiser released, Hellman moved all in for 12,500, and the action folded back to Barbarez, who called.
