Following an early position open for 300 and a caller from late position, Jose "Nacho" Barbero called as well from the big blind, and all three players saw the flop come . It checked around to the late position player who fired 500, then Barbero check-raised to 1,500. The original raiser folded, and the late position player called.
The turn brought the and a bet of 2,500 from Barbero, quickly called by his opponent. The then landed on fifth street, and both players checked.
Barbero turned over for a rivered straight — better than his opponent's — and he claimed the early pot.

Anton Wigg is in a good mood today and as well he might be. The Swedish former EPT winner took down the PLO Turbo tournament yesterday for €39,100.
He’s off to a winning start today as well after winning a three-way, three-bet pot out of position. He opened to 250 from early position and then called Frederic Vacher’s 600 three-bet along with Wilfredo Hidalgo who was in the big blind.
All three players checked the flop before Wigg bet 1,125 on the turn. Vacher was the only caller but he couldn’t stand Wigg’s heat on the as he folded to a 2,650 bet.

Glen Cymbaluk is easy to find in this vast tournament room, his snake skin Crocodile Dundee hat and his mirrored sunglasses helping him to stand out from the crowd. He will be hoping his poker skills make him stand out from the crowd.
Cymbaluk just won a nice little pot to get his Day 1b up and running. Cymbaluk opened to 300 from the cutoff and the button called. Gordon Huntley called from the big blind making it three-handed to the flop.
The action checked to the button who tried to buy the pot with a 675 bet. The bet was only called by Cymbaluk. Both active players checked the turn but when the made an appearance on the river, Cymbaluk took down the pot with an 800 chip bet.
Anais Lerouge last night won her third EPT ladies title to add €7,500 to her career live winnings. Read the wrap of the event at the PokerStars Blog.
