Adams Shoves on Schillhabel

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Orpen Kiacikoglu raised to 4,500 from under the gun and Stefan Schillhabel called in the hijack. Timothy Adams three-bet to 16,500 from the cutoff and only Schillhabel made the call in the end.

They both checked through the {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop and the {j-Spades} on the turn. The river completed the board with the {10-Spades}, Schillhabel now lead out for 32,000. Adams took a few seconds and then shoved for 199,000. Schillhabel then tanked, using four time bank cards, before deciding to let the pot go Adams' way.

Reeves Ran Down by Khangah

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Martin Winkler raised to 5,000 from the hijack and was called by Ahadpur Khangah in the cutoff. Lucas Reeves three-bet to 25,000 from the button and only Khangah made the call.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, Khangah check-called the 30,000 continuation-bet of Reeves.

The turn brought them the {q-Clubs}, Khangah checked once more, Reeves put in a bet for Khangah to snap-shove and Reeves to insta-call for his last 70,000 or so.

Khangah tabled {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for the turned flush and Reeves was holding {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for the turned set of queens. Reeves needed to pair the board to stay alive but the {3-Spades} on the river wasn't that as Reeves was sent away from the table.

Tran Gets Paid in Two Spots

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Tuan Tran went shirtless for a recent hand as he enjoyed a massage, saying he was hot because of the hand as he bet 6,500 on {8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{a-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Both Orpen Kisacikoglu in early position and Daniel Dvoress, who had checked, called him. On the {6-Hearts} river, Tran fired 37,000 and Kisacikoglu called. Dvoress took longer to think, using an extension, but he called as well.

"If you only call, I got you, baby," Tran declared, showing {q-}{8-} for two pair. "See, I got hot because I see two pair."

His opponents indeed mucked, and after the hand, the supervisor told him he was obliged to wear a shirt.

Muehloecker bet 67,500 and Kisacikoglu jammed. It was about double the bet but Muehloecker folded fairly quickly.

O'Dwyer Eliminates Khangah

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Three players saw a {7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop for a single raise and Ahadpur Khangah just shoved all in for way over pot, about 100,000. Opener Sam Greenwood mucked but Steve O'Dwyer, who checked initially, snap-called with {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Khangah chuckled and tried to muck but the dealer turned over his {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and the nearly dead hand was done for after the {a-Hearts} turn.

Greenwood Picks Off O'Dwyer

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Steve O'Dwyer opened for 4,000 early and got one caller before Sam Greenwood made it 18,000 to go. O'Dwyer continued and it was heads up to {9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades} after nobody bet the flop. O'Dwyer bet 18,000 and Greenwood called. On the {5-Hearts} river, O'Dwyer bet 100,000 and Greenwood thought a bit then dropped in calling chips.

O'Dwyer slapped down {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a missed draw and Greenwood raked in the pot after showing {a-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Tran Bet-Folds to a Shove

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Tuan Tran reraised to 16,000 preflop in the small blind and got calls from opener Orpen Kisacikoglu and Timothy Adams. The flop came {5-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Tran continued for 18,000. Everyone stuck around to the {3-Hearts} turn. Tran used a time extension then eventually bet 58,000. Kisacikoglu shoved for 94,500. Adams folded, and Tran thought long enough to use another extension before giving it up.
