A total of seven new players joined the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo©Casino EPT €25,000 High Roller ahead of the start of Day 2. [Removed:119], Mark Teltscher, Andrey Konopelko, Erik Seidel, John Juanda and Erik Seidel all took advantage of the single re-entry, whereas Rustam Hajiyev was a new entry to the tournament.

The players will all receive 50,000 chips, with the blinds starting at 1,000/2,000 with a 2,000 button ante. That brings the total number of entries up to 119 including 28 re-entries, creating a prizepool of €2,828,035.

The payouts have also been confirmed with the top 17 players in the money, with a min-cash worth €44,400. The winner of the 2018 EPT Monte Carlo €25,000 High Roller will take home €711,500.

A field of 50 players started the day, but that has already been reduced to 46 following the eliminations of Steve O'Dwyer, [Removed:17], Martin Finger and Lijo Lander.

Today will consist of ten 60-minute levels and a dinner break at the conclusion of level six. Players received two additional time bank chips when registration closed, and will receive two more when play reaches the money.

It's been a long week-plus full of poker action and the festival has finally hit its penultimate day at PokerStars and Monte-Carlo©Casino EPT.

That gets rolling at noon local time with the plan to play down to a six-play final table that will be live streamed with cards up on a short delay.
