Bustouts; Doubles; Bigger Stacks

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Sebastien Garrasi and Samuel Touil are nowhere to be found anymore while Adrian Mateos had a far bigger stack and could even afford to double Michael Vonmoos. The latter called all in after the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop and showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, Mateos had the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The {7-Clubs} turn and {9-Clubs} river were insignificant while Maxim Panyak mentioned "I would have had a flush."

Saar Wilf was paid off by table neighbor Filippo Gandini when the Italian check-called a bet of 10,000 on the {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades} river, then mucked to Wilf's {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} for trips queens.

Narboni Folds It, Souaid Shows It

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With already a sizable pot brewing between Karim Souaid and Philippe Narboni, action was on the latter with the board reading {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. Narboni bet 6,600 and Souaid responded with a check-raise to 22,000, for the majority of Narboni's remaining stack.

Narboni went deep in the tank and eventually flung the {K-Hearts} open in the muck. Souaid was a good sport and showed the {K-Diamonds} as well, followed by the {10-Diamonds}. Whether the kicker was good remained unknown, as Narboni slid his other card in the muck.

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ekrem Sanioglu limped from under the gun and Remy Lubespere raised to 4,000. Amjad Nader three-bet all in for 30,000 from the big blind. Sanioglu folded and Lubespere snap-called.

Amjad Nader: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Remy Lubespere: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Nader was eliminated.

Konnikova Eliminated Again; Di Giacomo Jams Up Stack

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Maria Konnikova

The seat of Maria Konnikova was empty and Josip Simunic confirmed that he had taken the remaining chips of the PokerStars ambassador. "I three-bet to 7,000 and she shoved for 17,000. I called with ace-ten, she had jacks and I got there," the Austrian said. Simunic moved to a comfortable stack well above the average.

Even more chips currently belong to Aleksandr Sheshukov and Claudio Di Giacomo, who clashed in a bigger pot.

Di Giacomo's raise in the cutoff was three-bet to 8,500 by Sheshukov on the button and the small blind called, as did Di Giacomo. On the {J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop, the small blind bet 12,000 and picked up two calls before checking the {4-Spades} turn. Di Giacomo called as well and Sheshukov made it 20,000 to go, which only the Italian called.

On the {5-Diamonds} river the board paired for the second time and Di Giacomo moved all in. Sheshukov shook his head, added some words in Russian and folded.

Margets Chips Up With Aces

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The river was the {q-Hearts} and both players checked.

Margets unveiled {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} for the nut flush and scooped the pot.

Bednar Busts Touil

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Samuel Touil
Samuel Touil

Samuel Touil looked in a great position to double through Jan Bednar, with Touil holding {k-}{k-} to the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} of Bednar.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts} giving Bednar a pair. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and the river the {a-Diamonds} giving Bednar two pair and sending a frustrated looking Touil to the rail.

Bednar is now up over 100,000 in chips.

Garrasi Left Short

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Adrian Mateos and Sebastien Garrasi invested 9,000 each to see a flop of {K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} and, with 20,000 in the middle, Garrasi bet 15,100 with just about as much behind. Mateos on the button was having none of it and moved all in with the superior stack, starting down towards his opponent and the middle of the table.

Garrasi was left with his head shaking and spent some time in the think tank. The clock was called on him and the Swiss mucked his cards after briefly flashing them.

Alt Doubles Through Touil

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A raise to 2,200 by Dinesh Alt in the hijack was called by the player on the button and Samuel Touil in the big blind. On a flop of {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}, Touil check-raised all in and Alt called it off for the last 19,600 after his continuation bet had forced out the button.

Dinesh Alt: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Samuel Touil: {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The Swiss had plenty of outs to dodge, and he did so thanks to the {K-Diamonds} turn and the {2-Hearts} river. After the dinner break, Touil had been on more than four times the starting stack but he has since been sent down all the way back to where he started with.
