Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

On a {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, Adrian Mateos checked and Christoph Vogelsang bet 4,000. Mateos called.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} and Mateos check-called 14,000.

The river was the {k-Clubs} and Mateos checked once more. He snap-called a bet of 34,000 from Vogelsang who showed {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a pair of fives and ace-high.

Mateos showed {5-Spades}{6-Spades} for trip fives and took down the pot.

Dvoress Re-Enters

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Dvoress Eliminated by Mulder

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop both Teun Mulder and Daniel Dvoress put 26,000 into the pot and Mulder then bet 70,000 on the {8-Spades} turn.

Dvoress called and the river was the {3-Spades}. Mulder moved all in, covering his opponent, and Dvoress used two time extensions before calling.

Mulder showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a flopped set, Dvoress open-mucked {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for top pair and was eliminated.

Zhang Becomes the First to Hit the Rail

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Michael Zhang
Michael Zhang

Teun Mulder raised to 4,000 in middle position and was called by Daniel Dvoress in the hijack and Sam Grafton on the button. Michael Zhang re-raised to 23,500 in the small blind and was met with a four-bet to 44,000 from Mulder. Dvoress and Grafton both folded as Zhang shoved in his stack of just under 90,000. Mulder quickly called and the cards were tabled.

Teun Mulder: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Michael Zhang: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

It was a classic coin flip and Zhang held the lead through the {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. However, the {a-Spades} on the turn was exactly what Mulder was looking for. The {7-Hearts} completed the board and Zhang became the first player eliminated.

Reixach Gets After It

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Adrian Mateos opened from under the gun and Sergi Reixach three-bet to 17,000 from the small blind, just moments after taking his seat. Mateos called and the flop fell {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Reixach led out for 13,000 and Mateos stuck around to see the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Both players checked and the {k-Spades} completed the board. Reixach fired out another 28,000 which forced Mateos to burn a time bank before folding his cards.

Abundance of Time Banks Forced Out

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

In a four-bet pot, Michael Zhang and Teun Mulder each stuck in 27,000 chips preflop. The flop came {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Zhang led out for 20,000 from the small blind. Mulder called from middle position and the {j-Spades} landed on the turn.

Zhang checked this time and Mulder checked it back. The {3-Clubs} completed the board and Zhang made a small bet of 28,000 after burning through a couple of time extensions. Mulder used two of his own before shoving all in for 141,500. Zhang was forced to use two more time banks and ultimately laid his hand down.
