Addamo Bests Thorel

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop, Michael Addamo had a bet of 90,000, with Jean-Noel Thorel sitting with 30,000 in front of him in position. Joris Ruijs must have also been in the hand, because after Thorel called the extra 60,000, Ruijs threw in a time extension.

The river was the {7-Spades}. Addamo used a time extension before betting 20,000. Thorel called.

Addamo showed {9-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a turned straight and Thorel open-mucked {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a missed straight draw.

Greenwood Recovers Some Chips

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ali Imsirovic raised it up from the cutoff and Sam Greenwood defended from the big blind. The flop fell {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Greenwood checked to Imsirovic who continued for 1,500. Greenwood check-raised to 8,500 and Imsirovic called.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and Greenwood fired out another bet of 30,000. Imsirovic tossed in a call and the {6-Spades} hit the river. Greenwood counted out a bet of 100,000 this time and Imsirovic wasted little time before sliding his cards to the muck.

On a {3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs} river, Chris Hunichen had checked to Orpen Kisacikoglu who bet 15,500 into a pot of 13,500.

"Gross river," said Hunichen aloud before eventually calling. Kisacikoglu showed {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for rivered quads.

"So sick," said Hunichen open-mucking {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a full house face up on the river.

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Three players headed to a flop of {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Timothy Adams started with a check. Seth Davies bet 2,500 and was called by Isaac Haxton on his left. Adams check-raised to 14,000 and only Davies called.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} and Adams fired out another bet of 29,000. Davies still called and the {5-Hearts} completed the board. Adams went into the tank again, using a time extension before splashing in a bet of 90,000. Davies quickly called and Adams flipped over {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for the nuts. Davies released his cards and Adams has quickly doubled his starting stack.

Adams Puts Greenwood to the Test

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With around 40,000 in the middle already, the dealer spread the flop of {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. Timothy Adams and Sam Greenwood were heads-up in the pot and Adams led out for 11,000 from the small blind. Greenwood called from the cutoff and the {4-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Adams sized up a bet of 47,000 this time and Greenwood still called. The {j-Spades} paired the board on the river and Adams used a time extension before sliding out a bet of 190,000, leaving just 8,000 behind. Greenwood only had around 145,000 chips remaining but quickly flicked his cards to the muck.
