Mosboeck Tank-Folds to Ivarsson

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante
Alexander Ivarsson
Alexander Ivarsson

The action folded to Mario Mosboeck in the small blind who raised it up to 500 which Alexander Ivarsson called in the big blind.

The flop came {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Mosboeck continued with a bet of 300 and got called.

The turn was the {5-Clubs}, Mosboeck opted to slow down and check. Ivarsson looked over and led out with a bet of 700 for Mosboeck to call.

The {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Mosboeck checked for the final time. Ivarsson took some time and bet 2,500. Mosboeck glanced at his cards, jumped into the thinking tank, and even cut out some calling chips at some point but opted to fold in the end.

Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

The action kicked off with a raise to 600 and he was called by Belarmino De Souza before Andras Nemeth three-bet to 2,700. Sklenicka opted to fold and De Souza stuck around to see the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop. De Souza check-raised from 2,200 to 7,000 and Nemeth tossed in calling chips.

After the {8-Clubs} turn, both players checked and De Souza then bet just 1,000 into 21,000 on the {k-Diamonds} river. Nemeth called and his {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} was good enough to win the pot, as De Souza had been bluffing with the {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Heads-up to the {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs} turn, Rami Iskandar bet 1,000 out of the big blind and Kamil Sokol raised to 4,600. Iskandar gave it some consideration and then called which led them to the {5-Hearts} river.

"Did you check?" Sokol inquired after Iskandar was in the tank for a while, who shook his head and then bet 8,500. Sokol moved all-in and Iskandar snap-called for the last 27,100. Sokol exposed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a semi-bluff and Iskandar doubled with the {q-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a full house.

Emil Bise

The cards were already flipped over when Fausto Tantillo was the player at risk for 17,100. He was looked up by Emil Bise and both players revealed pocket pairs in the following showdown.

Fausto Tantillo: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Emil Bise: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The superior pair held on the {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs} board to send Tantillo to the rail, while the rather tight playing Bise has chipped up.

Muehloecker Felted by Plante

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante
Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

Thomas Muehloecker had defended the big blind against Santiago Plante and that eventually created a pot worth 22,000 to the {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} river. Muehloecker bet 4,500 with around 28,000 behind and Plante went into a brief tank. He then slid forward his tower of T-5,000 chips and Muehloecker instantly called.

Plante tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} for aces full and Muehloecker exposed {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for sevens full of aces. "Nothing you can do there," another player at the table remarked as Muehloecker silently gathered his belongings and left the tournament area.

Plante now holds the biggest stack at the table by some margin ahead of Pierre Calamusa.

Beresford Builds a Bigger Stack

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Conor Beresford
Conor Beresford

A raise to 2,000 was in front of Conor Beresford and Sven Krieger then pushed for what appeared to be 19,000.

"I don't like the chip thing you did, otherwise I would have probably called," Beresford mentioned in table chat.

Krieger grinned and shot back with a "sorry about that" while Beresford mused over his decision for another 30 seconds. He then splashed in several blue chips with a bang.

Sven Krieger: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Conor Beresford: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

As it turned out, Beresford had his opponent pipped by a notch and that remained to be the case throughout the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} board.

Vogelsang Runs Into Sootla's Kings

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Tom Vogelsang
Tom Vogelsang

Tom Vogelsang had an above-average stack some time ago but his downfall came fast once he was moved tables. Seemingly involved in a ton of hands, he was chipped down to just 11,200 when he got them in against Ranno Sootla.

It was Sootla who first exposed his {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Vogelsang squeezed his cards. He first showed the {4-Diamonds} and Sootla exclaimed "noooo, not ace four." The second {4-Hearts} was then also flashed and the dominated pair found no help on the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} runout.

"Good game buddy," Sootla added while Vogelsang gathered his belongings.

The Rich Get Richer

Sinclair Jack
Sinclair Jack

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Jack Sinclair and Stanislav Zegal, the former bet the {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} river for 17,000. Zegal tanked for a while and eventually made the call by tossing in a single chip.

Sinclair rolled over the {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a full house, sixes full of queens, and dragged in yet another healthy pot. However, the Brit is not the current chip leader as Ezequiel Waigel has even more chips at his disposal.
