Nemeth Beats De Souza in Showdown

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

The action kicked off with a raise to 600 and he was called by Belarmino De Souza before Andras Nemeth three-bet to 2,700. Sklenicka opted to fold and De Souza stuck around to see the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop. De Souza check-raised from 2,200 to 7,000 and Nemeth tossed in calling chips.

After the {8-Clubs} turn, both players checked and De Souza then bet just 1,000 into 21,000 on the {k-Diamonds} river. Nemeth called and his {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} was good enough to win the pot, as De Souza had been bluffing with the {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Carrel Kicks Szecsi Out

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

The board read {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} with a substantial pot in the middle already.

Charlie Carrel had the all-in button in front of him in the hijack position and some chips next to it. Norbert Szecsi was sitting in the tank on the button. After a while, he made the call for the 13,100 he had behind.

Carrel tabled the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for two pair, sixes and fives and Szecsi stared at it for a bit and wanted to get but was forced to show his hand. He flipped over the {a-Hearts}{a-} for the overpair before making his way out of the tournament area.

Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

Picking up the action on the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, Jan Smidrkal bet 3,900 in the big blind and was called by Gaelle Baumann on the button. Smidrkal bet another 8,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn to receive a call and then jammed the {5-Diamonds} river for 15,000.

Baumann called instantly with the covering stack by exactly one chip and tabled the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for a flush, which beat the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} of Smidrgal.

Gill Jams Up His Stack

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

In front of Jack Sinclair were 1,600 in chips and Alex Kulev had then four-bet to 7,000 from two seats over. Harpreet Gill opted to simply move all-in for more than the starting stack to force out one player. Sinclair came to the same conclusion and Kulev double-checked his cards before doing the same.

"I had kings," Gill said before rolling over his cards for a mere second while adding "I thought you have it."

Feenstra Mucks Against Berndtson

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Touko Berndtson raised to 500 from the hijack and Rens Feenstra three-bet to 2,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Berndtson who took a few seconds before making the call.

The flop came {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Spades} for Berndtson to quickly check. Feenstra continued with a barrel of 1,500 for Berndtson to call.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Berndtson checked instantly again. This time, Feenstra fired a bet of 4,500 over the line and got called again.

The river completed the board with the {q-Diamonds} and they both checked. Berndtson tabled the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for two pair, aces and sevens for Feenstra to muck.
