Bendinelli Welcomed to the Table

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Giuliano Bendinelli was moved to the outer feature table following the elimination of Maher Nouira.

On his first hand at his new table, he raised to 200,000 from under the gun and was met with a three-bet to 600,000 by Patrik Jaros.

"Is this my welcome," Bendinelli said before he folded.

The next hand, he called a raise to 200,000 by Jaros from the big blind and they went heads-up to a {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop. Bendinelli checked to Jaros, who continued for 150,000.

Bendinelli called, then called another bet of 650,000 on the {q-Diamonds} turn. He checked the {5-Diamonds} river and Jaros this time checked behind.

Bendinelli showed {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a flopped pair of jacks to take the pot.

Mateus' Eights are Good

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Neville Mateus opened to 225,000 from under the gun with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Scott Margereson three-bet to 900,000 in the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, and Mateus called.

The {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop came all low cards, Margereson led for 600,000, and Mateus called, while both players checked the {2-Hearts} turn and the {7-Diamonds} river.

Mateus tabled his eights and took down the pot to add a bit to his stack.

Maher Nouira Eliminated in 11th Place (€117,140)

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Maher Nouira
Maher Nouira

Action folded to Maher Nouira who limped from the small blind and Fabiano Kovalski checked from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Nouira check-called a bet of 150,000 from Kovalski.

The turn was the {j-Spades} and Nouira check-called another bet of 375,000 from Kovalski.

The {q-Clubs} completed the board and Nouira checked once more. Kovalski fired 700,000 and Nouira gave it some thought, using one of his time bank cards, then check-raised all in for 1,785,000.

Kovalski went deep into the tank, using multiple of his time bank cards, then tossed in chips signifying a call. Nouira turned over {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Kovalski revealed {k-Hearts}{10-Spades} to win the pot with a pair of kings, eliminating Nouira in 11th place for €117,140.

Jaros Extends His Lead

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Patrik Jaros
Patrik Jaros

Patrik Jaros limped in from the small blind and Maher Nouira checked to the {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop.

Jaros bet 100,000 and Nouira called before both players checked down the {j-Clubs} turn. The river was the {j-Spades} and Jaros bet another 300,000.

Nouira quickly called and Jaros showed {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} to take the pot with two pair, jacks and sixes.

A few hands later, Jaros raised to 200,000 from under the gun and was called by Paul Fischill and Valentin Cristea in the blinds.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and both opponents checked before Jaros bet 150,000. Only Fischill called to the {j-Spades} turn when Jaros fired out another 350,000.

Fischill flashed Jaros a smile and began shaking his head before surrending another pot to the chip leader.

Boat for Bendinelli

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

With 850,000 in the pot on a {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} board, Kayhan Mokri held {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} in the big blind and check-called for 500,000 against Giuliano Bendinelli who held {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} in the under-the-gun position.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board, Mokri checked, and Bendinelli used a time extension before announcing "all in" to put Mokri to the test for his 2,060,000 remaining chips.

"Really, it's not going well," Mokri said regarding his cold start to Day 5 after starting the day second in chips. "I must admit, it's not going very well."

"It feels like I'm getting bluffed for some reason." Mokri continued. "I just fold, fold," he eventually said as he wisely let go of his hand to keep his tournament alive, while Bendinelli took the pot.

Seven-Deuce is Good for Jaros

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Fabiano Kovalski raised to 200,000 from the hijack and Patrik Jaros defended from the big blind.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Jaros checked. Kovalski bet 150,000 and Jaros check-raised to 600,000. Kovalski called.

The turn came the {6-Hearts} and Jaros fired a bet of 1,100,000 that Kovalski called.

The {j-Diamonds} filled up the board and both players checked.

"You win," commented Jaros turning over {7-Spades}{2-Spades} for a pair of deuces. But Kovalski showed {a-Spades}{5-Hearts} for ace-high, and Jaros raked in the pot.

Margereson Continues to Chip Up

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Scott Margereson
Scott Margereson

Scott Margereson opened to 220,000 from under the gun with {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Kayhan Mokri flatted on the button with {7-Spades}{6-Spades}, and Michael Pinto defended the big blind with {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

The dealer put the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop onto the felt, and action checked to Mokri who bet 270,000. Only Margereson continued.

The {3-Spades} turn was an interesting one as it gave Margereson two pair, while Mokri picked up a flush draw, and Margereson check-called for 1,100,000. The {a-Clubs} completed the board and both players checked.

Margereson tabled his boat and took the pot to move over 10 million in chips as he nears the top of the leaderboard.
