D'Alterio Makes the Right Call

Luigi D'Alterio raised to 3,000 from under the gun, then called when Joaquin Subirada three-bet to 7,500 in the hijack.

Both players checked the J♦J♠9♠ flop and D'Alterio also checked the 6♦ turn. Subirada bet out 4,500 and D'Alterio called.

The river came the A♠ and Subirada shoved all in for 22,000. D'Alterio picked up some of his chips and began twirling them between his fingers as he tanked for nearly three minutes before calling.

Subirada tossed his K♠Q♣ into the middle of the table and got up from his seat as D'Alterio showed A♦9♦ to send him to the rail.

Bahador Azad three-bet to 8,000 out of the big blind and Pierre Zerbib called in early position.

The flop came J♦K♣A♣ and Azad continued for another 8,500. Zerbib quickly flicked in a chip to call.

Azad pushed his entire stack of 30,500 into the middle on the 2♦ turn and Zerbib pondered making the call for about a minute but eventually decided to fold.

Roberto Canali is also at this table with an above-average stack.

Karim Alleg was all in preflop in a three-way pot that included David Einbinder in the cutoff and Vladimire Erceg on the button.

Einbinder and Erceg both checked on the A♥K♠7♠ flop and again on the 4♠ turn. Einbinder then bet 6,500 on the 6♠ river to bring a fold from Erceg.

Einbinder showed J♥J♠ for a jack-high flush to beat out the pair of aces of Alleg with A♣5♣ to send the Frenchman to the rail.

Andreas Chalkiadakis raised under the gun to 3,000, finding two callers, the cutoff and Klas Lofberg in the big blind.

The flop came down J♣4♠K♥. Lofberg checked, Chalkiadakis continued for 3,500 and the cutoff called. Lofberg elected to check-raise, moving all in for 7,500. Chalkiadakis clicked it back to 15,000 and the cutoff folded.

Shevliakov had A♦K♦ for ace-high, while Musumeci showed 6♦5♦. The river came the 10♦ and Musumeci's turned pair of sixies were enough to send Shevliakov to the rail.

It was heads up to the 6♦ river, and the Astarita bet out 5,500. He got called by Leuver, who mucked his hand, unable to beat the Italian's 10♦9♦.

In a blind versus blind confrontation, the pot stood at 8,500 with the full board dealt 7♥J♦5♣Q♣3♠.

Xavier Zuczkowski, in the small blind, checked the action to Paul-Adrian Covaciu in the big. Covaciu moved all in for his last 10,000, overbetting the size of the pot. Zuczkowski tanked for some time before making the call. Covaciu tabled J♣4♦ which was out in front of the 10♦5♠ of Zuczkowski.
