"Good Flop" For Covrig Nets Him a Double

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Lionel Lacolas and Sergiu Covrig were heads-up on a flop of QQ3 when Lacolas bet 16,000 from middle position. Covrig called on the button to the 4 turn.

Lacolas then asked Covrig how much he had behind before sticking in a tower of chips. Covrig snap-called for his last 35,000 and showed Q10 for trip queens. Lacolas turned over 55.

The river was the 7 and Covrig earned a double up. "Good flop," Lacolas told him, giving him a thumbs up as the pot was pushed in his direction.

Despite taking that hit, Lacolas is still sitting on one of the largest stacks in the room.

Cabrerizo Hits the Ace in Massive Encounter with Musumeci

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ruben Cabrerizo and Paolo Musumeci each had a tower of blue 5,000 chips in the middle before the flop, with Cabrerizo all in and at risk for his last 71,500 from the hijack against Musumeci in middle position.

Ruben Cabrerizo: AK
Paolo Musumeci: KK

Cabrerizo was at serious risk of hitting the rail until the A came in the window to propel him into the lead, followed by the 9J. Musumeci turned away from the table in disgust before the Q fell on the turn and the 6 on the river, sending most of his stack over to Cabrerizo.
