Vaskaboinikau Wins First Hand at the Table

David Yan raised 6,000 in the hijack and both Felipe Ketzer on the button and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau, who had just sat down, called in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 7♣5♠3♥ and all three players checked to the 4♦ turn. Vaskaboinikau led for 7,000 and only Ketzer made the call,

The 9♣ landed on the river and Vaskaboinikau fired once again, this time for 25,000. Ketzer only took a couple of seconds before making the call to see the 5♥3♣ of Vaskaboinikau, which was good as he pitched his cards into the muck.

Grafton Fires Away at Mokri

Kayhan Mokri raised to 6,000 from under the gun and was called by Sam Grafton on the button and big blind Jean-Noel Thorel.

The flop came 8♥K♣9♥ and action checked to Grafton who bet 7,000. Thorel folded, but Mokri called to see the Q♣ turn.

He checked again and Grafton then bet 12,000. Mokri called once more and the 10♥ fell on the river.

Grafton fired out 38,000 this time as Mokri went into the tank. He tossed a time bank chip in the middle, nearly making Grafton reveal his hand.

"Sorry," he said to Grafton.

"It makes no difference," Grafton replied.

Mokri eventually folded and Grafton took the pot.

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau just took his seat in the tournament.

The dealer spread a flop of J♦10♥6♦ and Grafton continued for 8,000. Both Ketzer and Thorel called.

The Q♦ fell on the turn and Grafton fired a bet of 20,000, pushing Ketzer out of the pot, but Thorel min-raised to 40,000. Grafton took a few seconds before eventually making the call.

The K♥ completed the board on the river and Grafton checked before Thorel checked back. Grafton tabled A♦10♠ for Broadway on the river and Thorel showed K♦10♣, making two pair, before the dealer mucked his hand.

The flop came Q♥2♥J♥ and Ketzer bet another 5,000. Lococo called, then check-called another 13,000 on the 9♦ turn.

The 3♦ fell on the river and Ketzer bet 75,000 this time. Lococo snap-called and Ketzer turned over 10♥7♥ for a flopped flush. Lococo mucked and the big pot was pushed to Ketzer.

Sam Grafton opened to 5,000 on the button and both Felipe Ketzer and Jean-Noel Thorel called in the blinds.

All three players checked the 10♣2♥J♣ flop before Ketzer led out for 7,500 on the 7♣ turn. Only Thorel called.

The river came the 3♥ and Ketzer bet another 21,000. Thorel then moved all in for around 150,000 and Ketzer snap-folded.

The next hand, action folded to Thorel in the small blind. "You and me," big blind Kayhan Mokri said before Thorel open-shoved.

"Oh my God. How can you do this to me?" Mokri said as he tossed 2♦2♠ into the muck. Thorel showed him 10♠10♦ as he took the pot.

The dealer fanned a flop of A♣7♥3♠, and once Grafton checked, Thorel slammed his stack of about 94,000 across the line. Grafton wasted no time tossing his hand into the muck.
