Neves Scores Massive Double Up With Rockets

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action was picked up when all the chips hit the middle preflop between Arunas Sapitavicius and Pedro Neves, who was at risk for his stack of 407,000.

Pedro Neves: AA
Arunas Sapitavicius: KQ

Neves had the goods and was in great shape for a double up, but when the flop came J92, it was the ultimate sweat for the rockets against a combo draw. The 8 bricked off on the turn and the 3 completed the runout, dodging all the outs for Sapitavicius to double up Neves.
