Beresford Doubles Through Grafton

Level 12 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Conor Beresford
Conor Beresford

The cards were on their backs and with a board of {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} shown, Conor Beresford's last 144,000 were being counted in front of him and from Sam Grafton's stack.

Beresford held {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a turned Broadway straight, while Grafton held {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for top pair, top kicker.

Grafton's chips were passed to Beresford for a double-up which left Grafton below a starting stack.

Pardo Wins a Big One From Mulder

Level 12 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

With a meaty pot of over 250,000 built by the turn with the board reading {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Teun Mulder checked in the hijack to Juan Pardo in the cutoff.

Pardo bet 42,000, and was met with an all in bet from Mulder. Pardo counted down his roughly 230,000 chip stack and moved it in.

Juan Pardo: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Teun Mulder: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Mulder only had one live overcard after his move, and once the {q-Hearts} had fallen on the river, Pardo had won himself a large pot, leaving Mulder just over a starting stack.

Wilf Gets Unlucky Twice

Level 12 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Saar Wilf
Saar Wilf

The action folded to Thomas Muehloecker on the button who shoved all in for 184,000. Saar Wilf was in the big blind and picked up a hand good enough to call.

Thomas Muehloecker: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Saar Wilf: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Things were looking promising for Wilf on the {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop along with the {8-Hearts} turn. However, the {4-Diamonds} on the river gave Muehloecker two pair and he doubled through Wilf.

With just 50,000 left after the hand, Wilf waited a couple of hands before putting his last chips in the middle. Niklas Astedt called from the big blind and the cards were tabled.

Wilf held {a-Spades}{3-Spades} and was up against the {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} of Astedt. The board ran out {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Astedt made a pair of queens to eliminate Wilf.

Vieira Pops the Flop

Level 12 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

Nikita Kuznetsov raised under the gun to 27,000 and was called by Pedro Marques in the hijack and Joao Vieira in the cutoff.

On the {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Kuznetsov checked and Marques bet 27,000.

Vieira then took his time, using one of his time bank cards before raising to 126,000.

Kuznetsov quickly folded and after a brief moment so too did Marques to send the healthy pot to Vieira.

Pedro Garagnani raised to 25,000 in early position and Nikita Kuznetsov three-bet to 77,000 in the small blind. Garagnani responded by shoving all in for around 270,000 but Kuznetsov instantly called.

Pedro Garagnani: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Nikita Kuznetsov: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Garagnani was on the wrong side of a cold deck after picking up pocket queens. The board ran out {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Garagnani was eliminated.

Dickerson's Ladies Hold Up Against Davies

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Seth Davies raised to 23,000 in early position and Jules Dickerson reraised to 100,000 from the big blind. Davies called and they went heads-up to a flop of {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Dickerson continued with a bet of 70,000 and Davies called. The {j-Hearts} paired the board on the turn and Dickerson check-called a bet of 100,000 from Davies. On the {9-Clubs} river, both players tapped the table and Dickerson showed {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} to claim the pot.

Next door, the short stacks of Jakov Nesterov and Rui Ferreira were at risk but they ran into a monster with Andrew Lichtenberger picking up pocket kings. The board ran out clean for the guy they call "Lucky Chewy" and the two short stacks were eliminated.

Petrangelo Starting to Catch Fire

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo opened to 22,000 in early position and Igor Yaroshevskyy three-bet to 68,000 on his left. Felipe Ketzer was in the small blind and four-bet jammed all in for 488,000. Petrangelo asked for a count and then re-shoved, forcing a fold from Yaroshevskyy.

Felipe Ketzer: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Nick Petrangelo: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip but it quickly turned into a runaway on the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Spades} flop. Petrangelo flopped top pair with the nut-flush draw to leave Ketzer drawing slim. The {j-Clubs} and {2-Spades} runout secured Ketzer's fate as he headed for the exit.
