The river was the 5♣ and Doddapaneni moved all in. Gonzalez quickly called for his last 50,000 with 9♠9♣, but Doddapaneni had 3♦3♥ for a full house to send Gonzalez to the rail.

Alexandre Reard raised to 5,000 from under the gun with J♥J♦ and picked up a call from Pablo Almeida with 7♠7♥. Vlado Banicevic then three-bet to 19,000 from the hijack and Arthur Thiriart moved all in from the big blind for 41,000.

Reard and Almeida both folded and Banicevic made the call. Thiriart was at risk as players turned their cards.

It was the most classic poker race. The board ran out K♣4♠J♠9♠10♦ and Thiriart paired his king on the flop to get ahead. He also had a flush draw on the turn, but Banicevic hit one of his few outs on the river to make a straight.

Banicevic won the pot and Thiriart was eliminated from the tournament.

Kitai turned over Q♥8♦ and was behind his opponent's K♦5♥.

Kitai missed on the 6♠3♥3♠ flop and 4♠ turn. The 5♠ river offered no help to the Belgian and Shornikau took in the pot.

Di Giacomo led out for 23,000 in early position, Grossi raised to 46,500, and Di Giacomo called. The river was the K♠ and Di Giacomo moved all in. Grossi snap-called for 29,000 with Q♣Q♠ for a set of queens, but Di Giacomo had 7♣6♣ for a turned straight to win the pot and send Grossi to the rail

Aissaoui was in great shape to double up. The 10♥3♠Q♠ flop kept Aissaoui in front with ace-jack. However, the 7♠ turn moved Marrone into the lead with a pair of sevens. But Aissaoui did have a lot of outs to stay alive. The 5♥ wasn't one of them and Aissaoui was sent to the showers.

The flop came K♦Q♠6♥ and Nasreddine took a big lead in the pot with top two pair. The turn was the K♣ to give Nasreddine a full house as Price was already drawing dead and heading to the rail by the 10♠ river.

"I almost folded," Nasreddine said as the EPT Monte Carlo finalist took the pot to climb past 500,000.

Kanme Busts Hardcastle to Join Chip Leaders

Action was caught on the river, with around 140,000 in the middle on the J♠A♣7♥8♠3♠ board.

Jack Hardcastle checked in the small blind, prompting Raoul Kanme to bet 57,000 from the button. Hardcastle moved all in for 168,000, sending Kanme deep into the tank. Hardcastle remained stoic as Kanme agonized.

Kanme, who covered, slid in calling chips and breathed a huge sigh of relief when the cards were tabled.

Hardcastle tabled K♠J♦, and his bluff using the second nut-flush blocker was unable to get through as Kanme couldn't find a fold with his 8♣7♣, which was good for two pair.

Hardcastle left the tournament room, and Kanme told tablemate Jeff Kirsch that he was very close to folding.
