Seibt Gets There on the Turn to Double

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alexander Seibt
Alexander Seibt

Three-handed on a flop of AJ8, Alexander Seibt bet 14,000 from middle position and Allan Barnes raised to 50,000 in the cutoff. Boris Kuzmanovic folded in the big blind as action went back on Seibt. "What am I doing?" he asked himself before moving all in for 92,000 as Barnes quickly called.

Alexander Seibt: K10 All in
Allan Barnes: A8

Barnes was ahead with two pair, but Seibt had straight and flush draws as the J fell on the turn to complete his flush. "Let's go! That's good for poker," he said.

Seibt still needed to dodge the river, but it came a harmless 10 and he doubled up. "I spent all break looking up how to play 12 big blinds. I have no idea how to play 30 big blinds," he added.

Matteo Orchide
Matteo Orchide

Carlos Lopez moved all in for 230,000 from middle position as Matteo Orchide put him at risk from the big blind.

Carlos Lopez: KK All in
Matteo Orchide: AK

Lopez was ahead with his kings as the flop came 278 to give Orchide a flush draw. The 9 turn was safe for Lopez, who was one card away from a double up, but Orchide caught the J on the river to make his flush and send Lopez to the rail.

At another table, Thomas Eychenne eliminated Hans Erlandsson by winning a race with K10 against Erlandsson's pair of sixes.

Kiani Battles with Savenkov

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After loosing a stack against Savenkov in a blind versus blind pot when Kiana hit a pair but Savenkov made a straight on the river, Kiani found himself in a battle with Savenkov again in the next hand.

Kiani had limped from the button with 88 and Savenkov raised A5 from the small blind, making it 21,000. Kiani called and the players went to the flop.

Savenkov bet 7,000 on the 769 flop, Kiani raised to 17,000, and Savenkov called.

The 10 turn prompted Savenkov to check-fold after Kiani bet 50,000, giving Kiani back some of the chips he had lost in the previous hand.
