Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Fabiano Kovalski raised his K9 to 30,000 under the gun and was called by Matteo Orchide in the seat next to him, who had AQ.

Both players checked the 587 flop before Kovalski bet 105,000 on the 3 turn. Orchide called to the 6 river. Kovaslki sized up to 240,000 with his straight, sending Orchide in the tank.

Haoran Cai
Haoran Cai

Haoran Cai hasn't enjoyed the last few moments over at his table as the Chinese player had just lost back-to-back pots.

First, Simon Wiciak raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and Evgenii Sboev called from the small blind. Cai then squeezed to 115,000 out of the big blind, which got Wiciak to fold. Sboev then backraised all in for around 700,000, and Cai folded.

In the next hand, Wiciak opened to 30,000 from the hijack and Cai called from the small blind.

On the 8J2 flop, both players checked to the 6 turn. Cai led out for 25,000, Wiciak raised to 75,000, and Cai called.

An 8 fell on the river and after Cai checked, Wiciak bet 100,000. Cai used some extra time but eventually folded.

With about 100,000 in the middle on a monotone turn board of J52K, Jan Eric Schwippert checked in late position to Gabriel Cunha to his immediate left. Cunha bet 35,000 and Schwippert called.

The river K paired the board and again Schwippert checked. This time Cunha bet 125,000. Schwippert responded with a check-raise to 400,000, leaving himself just 5,000 behind.

Cunha used some of his allotted time and then called to see Schwippert's JJ for a full house. Cunha mucked and then sent a sizeable portion of his stack to his neighbor.
