Javey Timmer raised to 60,000 in middle position. Stephen Song then three-bet to 180,000 in the hijack before Jelle Moene made it 460,000 in the small blind.
Timmer quickly folded and Song swiftly followed suit, handing his chips over to Moene himself.
Alexandre Fournier raised to 60,000 from early position holding A♠10♦ and got called by Jack Sinclair in the cutoff with 5♠5♦, Rania Nasreddine on the button with Q♦J♦, Harry Lodge from the small blind holding 4♥4♣, and Jianwei Lin in the big blind with 8♦7♣.
The flop came 10♣J♥4♦ which checked all the way to Nasreddine on the button, who bet 125,000. Lodge then raised to 375,000 which got Lin, Fournier, and Sinclair all to fold, then Nasreddine called.
An A♦ fell on the turn and Lodge fired 550,000, and Nasreddine called.
When the 9♦ fell on the river, Lodge checked. Nasreddine quickly reached for chips and bet 750,000, which prompted Lodge to use some extra time. After using two time-extensions, Lodge found the fold with his set of fours, and Nasreddine was pushed the pot.
Fabiano Kovalski raised to 60,000 from the cutoff, receiving calls from Jack Kiriakus and Pablo Beltran, in the respective blinds.
The 9♥3♠A♣ flop saw the action check to Kovalski, who continued for 60,000. Kiriakus called and Beltran check-raised to 185,000. Kovalski called and Kiriakus folded.
The A♠ turn slowed down Beltran with a check. Kovalski bet out 350,000, earning a quick fold.
Jorge Artiga-Pacheco raised to 60,000 under the gun and got three-bet to 190,000 by Jelle Moene to his immediate left. Action folded back to Artiga-Pacheco who moved all in and was instantly called.
Jorge Artiga-Pacheco: J♠J♥
Jelle Moene: A♥A♦
The board came 10♦10♣9♥5♠K♥ as Artiga-Pacheco couldn't find a jack to survive.
The fourth season of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) run by PokerStars is well underway and the action only continues to heat up with the recent schedule release for its marquee stop in Las Vegas. Running from Friday November 1st through Sunday November 10th at Resorts World Las Vegas, the series is not one to miss as it features a whopping 36 tournaments in the span of a week and a half.
Buy-ins range from just $250 all the way up to $25,000 so there are plenty of options for those who want to enjoy some live tournament action without breaking the bank while also providing an opportunity for high stakes regulars to satisfy their desire to play for eye watering sums of money. The high volume means the series comes with a healthy $4,000,000 in total guarantees, including a sizable $3,000,000 set aside for the $5,300 Main Event.
Firoz Mangroe was first to act and raised to 60,000. Jack Kiriakus in the seat next to him made the minimum reraise to 90,000, after which Gal Bar made it 220,000 to go in the cutoff.
Mangroe quickly folded before Kiriakus called to the A♣10♥J♠ flop. He checked to Bar, who bet 140,000. Kiriakus surrendered his cards and the pot was shipper Bar's way.
"No ace, I take all your money," Kiriakus claimed as the hand wrapped up.
Harry Lodge raised to 60,000 with K♥10♣ from the hijack and Jianwei Lin called in the cutoff. Alexandre Fournier also called from the big blind.
On the 6♦A♦K♠ flop, all three players checked to the 10♦ turn. Fournier led out for 100,000, Lodge called, and Lin raised to 250,000. Fournier called, and Lodge folded.
A K♦ fell on the river — which would have seen Lodge improve to a full house — and Fournier checked. Lin thought for a moment before he checked back.
Fournier tabled A♠Q♦ for a rivered flush, and Lin mucked his Q♠J♠ which turned Broadway.
Tomasz Krzesinski made it 60,000 in middle position. Vladimir Erceg pumped it up to 160,000 in the hijack and Krzesinski called once the action had folded back to him.
Erceg continued for 80,000 on the Q♠7♣5♥ flop, which Krzesinski check-called. The 2♠ turn was then checked through before Krzesinski led out for 150,000 on the 2♣ river.
Ercerg quickly let his hand go, leaving him with less than 30 big blinds.
