Stephen Song

A massive preflop raising war has just seen Stephen Song eliminate Timothy Chung while rocketing back to the top of the chip counts.

Song opened in middle position to 60,000 and was three-bet to 200,000 by Chung on the button. Song came back with a four-bet to 535,000, but they were just getting started.

Chung then five-bet clicked it to 875,000, but then Song six-bet jammed and Chung called with both players holding roughly 3,000,000 chips, but Song had Chung covered.

Mangroe Turns Quads to Double

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Vladimir Erceg raised to 65,000 from the cutoff, Firoz Mangroe three-bet jammed for 480,000 from the big blind and Erceg called.

Firoz Mangroe: QQ All in
Vladimir Erceg: A7

Mangroe was ahead and the 8Q7 flop improved him to top set. The table discussed Erceg's prospects of victory by hitting running spades, however, the Q turn was the only spade in the deck that had Erceg drawing dead. The river landed the 4; Mangroe's quads ensured him the full double.

Meanwhile Aliaksandr Shylko was eliminated, trimming the field to 32 players.
