Karakousis Takes Multiway Pot

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jorge Rios opened to 16,000 from middle position and received calls from Georgios Karakousis in the cutoff and Jamel Hassani in the big blind.

The flop came AJ7 and action checked around to Karakousis who bet 15,000. Both Rios and Hassani made the call.

Karakousis bet again for 20,000 when checked to on the 4 turn and this time it was enough to force folds from both opponents.

De Necker Holds On For a Massive Double

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 572, Vladyslav Martynenko bet 35,000 from the button. Pieter De Necker raised to 150,000 in the cutoff, Martynenko moved all in, and De Necker called for 560,000.

Pieter De Necker: 99 All in
Vladyslav Martynenko: Q8

"Come on, hold one time," De Necker said as he stood up from his seat and started pacing around. He needed to dodge Martynenko's flush draw, and the J turn and A river were safe as De Necker doubled up in a 1,200,000 chip pot.

The next hand, Pascal Pflock raised to 16,000 in middle position and De Necker, still stacking up the massive pot, folded. "Did you even look at your cards?" Pflock joked.

Martynenko was left with 104,000 and moved all in from the cutoff. Birger Ohl reshoved for 281,000 in the big blind and Pflock folded.

Vladyslav Martynenko: 66 All in
Birger Ohl: AQ

"Same hand," Pflock told Ohl as the flop came 768 to give Martynenko a set. The rest of the board came Q5 and Martynenko stayed alive.

"Super Aggressive" Hrabec Gets Caught by Hassani

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A pot of around 200,000 was already in the middle as Roman Hrabec and Jamel Hassani went heads-up to the river on a board of 74943.

Hrabec then bet enough from the big blind to put Hassani all in. Hassani tanked for a moment before calling for his last 140,000.

Hrabec turned over J3 for a pair of treys, but Hassani had QQ to win the pot and double up.

"Super aggressive, my friend," tablemate Natan Chauskin said to Hrabec after the hand.
