Eliot Hudon got his last 74,000 in the middle from the cutoff and was up against Padraig O'Neill in the big blind.
Eliot Hudon: K♦K♣
Padraig O'Neill: Q♠Q♣
The EPT Prague champ found himself dominated by Hudon's kings and found no help on the J♠3♥A♠5♦A♥ board before handing over a double up.
Jean-Pierre Boulad raised to 3,000 in early position before Badr Douch three-bet to 8,000 in the cutoff. Action folded to Max Petzelberger in the big blind who four-bet to 20,000.
Boulad came back with a five-bet to 44,000 and Douch quickly folded, Petzelberger also gave up his hand as Boulad took down the pot unopposed.
Dinesh Alt opened to 3,000 from middle position and action folded to Sam Greenwood, who pondered his options for a moment before shipping his remaining 22,000 chips into the middle.
Action folded back to Alt who made the quick call.
Sam Greenwood: A♠Q♦
Dinesh Alt: 9♥9♣
Alt was ahead in a race and looked set to eliminate Greenwood after the board came 8♥8♠K♥6♦, but the A♣ rolled off on the river and Greenwood secured the double-up.
Kyle Julius in the hijack had three-bet Stanislav Anufriiev in early position. Anufriiev then made the call to create a pot of 25,000 chips.
Anufriiev checked to Julius on the 8♦K♠4♣ flop, after which Julius continued for 11,000. Anufriiev tanked for a while before making a small raise to 24,500.
Undeterred, Julius put his stack of 45,000 in the middle and Anufriiev, despite the good price, folded immediately, forfeiting the pot to Julius.
Javier Fernandez Alonso opened to 3,000 chips from the hijack and Giuseppe Cimelli piled in his remaining 15,000 chips from the small blind.
Fernandez Alonso flicked in a quick call and the pair showed down.
Giuseppe Cimelli: 10♠10♣
Javier Fernandez Alonso: A♦8♦
Fernandez made a pair on the 7♦8♣7♣2♠4♦ board, but it was the wrong one as Cimelli's tens remained superior to double him up.
Peter Jaksland has enjoyed a decent stack into Day 2 and increased his stack by more than half already. He then got involved in a hand with Aleksejs Ponakovs that was picked up on the K♥10♥5♣3♠ turn. Jaksland checked and Ponakovs bet 11,000 on the button for the Dane to call.
Both knuckled the felt on the 2♦ river and Jaksland revealed his Q♦J♦ for queen-high and a missed open-ended straight draw. Ponakovs had also missed the board but his A♣Q♠ won the pot.
Edward Yam opened to 3,000 from middle position and Ibrahim Ghassan defended his big blind.
On the 10♠6♦K♥ flop Ghassan check-called a bet of 3,000 from Yam.
The turn brought the 10♦ and Yam continued to fire when it was checked to him, putting out a bet of 4,500. Ghassan again called.
The 5♥ rolled off on the river and when it was checked to him Yam emptied the clip and moved all in. Ghassan made a relatively quick call.
Yam showed A♠10♥ for the turned trip tens, while Ghassan had K♦8♥ for a pair of kings.

Picking up the action on the J♣9♦7♠A♥ turn, Michail Manolakis bet 6,500 in middle position. Stoyan Obreshkov called in the hijack and they headed to the 5♣ river. Manolakis now made it 14,500 to go and Obreshkov called instantly, then asked right away if Manolakis had ace-king.
The Greek shook his head and flashed the 9♥8♥ for a pair of nines, which Obreshkov had beat holding the A♦Q♣.
