"Do you do coaching for Tritons? I also want to win three out of four," Martin Nielsen asked Tom-Aksel Bedell.
"I'm too old for that," Bedell replied.
Chin Wei Lim then opened to 10,000 in early position and Lauri Saaskilahti three-bet to 30,000 in middle position. Bedell called in the small blind, while Lim got out of the way.
Saaskilahti bet another 20,000 on the 6♠5♦5♣ flop, Bedell moved all in for 54,000, and Saaskilahti called.
Tom-Aksel Bedell: A♠8♠
Lauri Saaskilahti: A♣Q♣
Both players had ace-high, but Saaskilahti was ahead with his queen-kicker. The board ran out 9♣A♥ and Saaskilahti's queen continued to play to send Bedell to the rail.
Saaskilahti moved up close to 1,000,000 with that pot, but he's still not the chip leader at this table as Nielsen has climbed up to around 1,200,000.
On a flop of 7♣7♦6♣, cards went on their backs with Daniele Guidetti on the button at risk for approximately 100,000 against Thomas Eychenne in middle position.
Daniele Guidetti: Q♣J♣
Thomas Eychenne: 9♠7♠
Eychenne flopped trips while Guidetti had a flush draw. After the 5♠ turn, the 9♣ river completed Guidetti's flush. "Yes!" he shouted, before other players explained him that Eychenne hit a full house on the river. Guidetti quickly realized and was eliminated.
Julian Pineda Lozano raised to 10,000 in the cutoff and Raoul Kanme three-bet to 25,000 on the button. Tim van de Riet then moved all in for 64,000 in the big blind. Pineda Lozano reshoved, and Kanme quickly folded.
Tim van de Riet: A♥A♦
Julian Pineda Lozano: K♠K♣
Van de Riet had picked the right time to wake up with aces as he had Pineda Lozano's kings dominated. The board ran out Q♦8♣2♥J♠3♥ and Van de Riet doubled up.
In a heads-up pot between Spencer Champlin in the big blind and under-the-gun player Brock Wilson, Champlin bet on the flop of 8♣10♣5♦ and Wilson raised. Champlin called.
Champlin checked on the K♥ turn and Wilson bet 40,000. Champlin called. Champlin checked again on the 10♥ river and Wilson checked back, only to muck as Champlin showed K♣6♣ for a missed combo draw that turned into top pair.
Alfredo Zingales in the hijack and Andreas Vlachos in the small blind moved all-in preflop, with Zingales at risk for 143,000.
Alfredo Zingales: A♦A♠
Andreas Vlachos: A♣A♥
This situation made both players smile, but Vlacho's smile disappeared when Zingales found a flush draw on 7♠8♦K♠3♠. "Oh, no," he then repeated when the 10♠ completed the flush, allowing Zingales to double up.
Three players saw the turn on a board of 3♥9♣4♣9♠ when Matin Talebi led out for 15,000 from the small blind. Konstantinos Tsikopoulos then raised to 40,000 in the big blind.
The action folded back to Talebi who reraised to 90,000. Tsikopoulos then moved all in for 182,000, and Talebi burned through a few time banks before calling.
Tsikopoulos showed 2♥2♦, while Talebi was on straight and flush draws holding 6♣5♣. The 7♦ river gave Talebi his straight and sent Tsikopoulos to the rail.
"I knew you had nothing," Tsikopoulos told him.
"You want to be up against this nothing?" Talebi replied.
"Yes, gladly," Tsikopoulos added as he went off to the payout desk.
