El Mostafa Bel Khayate raised to 100,000 in the hijack, Anton Suarez moved all in from the big blind, and Bel Khayate called for 350,000.
El Mostafa Bel Khayate: A♣K♥
Anton Suarez: Q♠Q♦
Suarez's queens stayed in the lead on the 10♣5♦2♦ flop, while the J♣ turn gave Bel Khayate outs to a straight. He missed the 9♣ river and Bel Khayate became the first elimination of the day.
From under the gun, Tobias Leknes raised to 80,000 and only Rifat Palevic called from the cutoff.
Leknes tossed out a bet of 105,000 upon seeing the 3♣2♠2♥ flop, and Palevic continued in the form of a call.
The 7♣ rolled off on the turn and Leknes quickly threw out 300,000. Palevic went through two of his time banks before deciding to fold and surrender the pot to Leknes.
Youssef Zereg opened the button to 85,000 and Hugo Gotuzzo called from the big blind.
The flop came 8♥4♠5♦ and Gotuzzo check-called a bet of 55,000 from Zereg to see the J♥ hit the turn. Again Gotuzzo checked, and again Zereg bet, this time for 140,000. Gotuzzo called again.
A 4♣ landed on the turn and both players decided to check it down, where Gotuzzo showed 5♥3♥ for a pair of fives. That was good for the pot as Zereg mucked.
