Youssef Zereg Eliminated in 9th Place (€132,800)

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Youssef Zereg
Youssef Zereg

Thomas Eychenne raised to 280,000 from the button before Youssef Zereg three-bet jammed for 985,000 out of the small blind. When it got back to Eychenne, he quickly called to put Zereg at risk.

Youssef Zereg: A5 All in
Thomas Eychenne: 66

Zereg needed to find the ace or he would be the first to be eliminated from the final table.

A flop of 637 came down to give Eychenne a set, although Zereg actually increased his amount of outs with a straight draw. However, Zereg was drawing dead on the 7 turn as Eychenne improved to a boat. A meaningless J landed on the river, and Zereg headed to the rail to collect his ninth-place payout.

Eychenne Loses One, Brzezinski Wins One

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Tomasz Brzezinski
Tomasz Brzezinski

From the hijack, Thomas Eychenne made it 240,000 with A7 before Sebastian Ionita three-bet the button to 720,000 holding QQ. This was enough to get the blinds and Eychenne to fold, and Ionita pulled in the pot.

A few hands later, Anton Suarez min-raised 88 to 240,000 from under the gun with Tomasz Brzezinski calling from the next seat with just the 10 showing, and Cesar Garcia defending his big blind holding 22.

All three players checked the QA5 flop to see the 5 hit the turn. Garcia and Suarez checked again, but Brzezinski bet 360,000. This got two folds from Brzezinski's opponents, and the pot went to him.

Umberto Zaffagnini

Sebastian Ionita picked up KK in the hijack but got no action as his raise to 240,000 took down the blinds and ante.

Umberto Zaffagnini then raised to 240,000 in the cutoff with KQ, and Anton Suarez defended 86.

The flop came 752 and Zaffagnini bet 275,000. Suarez then raised to 750,000 with his straight draw, but Zaffagnini came back with a reraise to 1,800,000 with just king-high. Suarez folded.

Sergio Carro Marin Eliminated in 10th Place (€102,150)

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Sergio Carro Marin

Sergio Carro Marin raised to 240,000 under the gun, but chip leader Anton Suarez picked up KK in the cutoff and three-bet to 400,000. Marin folded AJ.

Action then folded to Tomasz Brzezinski in the small blind who moved all in, and Marin called for 1,060,000.

Sergio Carro Marin: KJ All in
Tomasz Brzezinski: 106

The 964 flop gave Brzezinski the lead with a pair of sixes, but Marin hit the K on the turn to move in front. The river, though, was the 10 to give Brzezinski two pair and the pot, while Marin was sent to the rail in 10th place.

The remaining nine players are drawing for seats at the final table. Levels will switch to hand-for-hand at the final table, with 26 hands remaining in this level before going to 30 hands per level.

Sergio Carro Marin raised to 250,000 in the cutoff and Anton Suarez called with 54 on the button.

The flop came Q42 and Marin continued for 250,000. Suarez called with his pair of fours.

The K turn gave Suarez a flush draw to go with his pair, and he again called after Marin bet 725,000. The 10 river improved Suarez to a flush as Marin bet 1,800,000.

Suarez came back with an all-in shove, and Marin, with 1,420,000 behind, folded 109.

Lozano Doubles With Deuces

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Julian Pineda Lozano
Julian Pineda Lozano

On the last hand before the break, Anton Suarez raised to 275,000 from the small blind and Julian Pineda Lozano jammed for his stack of roughly 2,900,000 from the big blind. Suarez instantly called to try and send the Main Event to the final table.

Julian Pineda Lozano: 22 All in
Anton Suarez: AQ

Lozano needed his deuces to win the race versus Suarez's ace-queen to remain in the tournament.

A flop of 710K offered Suarez a straight draw, but the 5 turn didn't improve his hand. A clean 7 peeled off on the river for Lozano, and he doubled up through the chip leader.

A 4 fell on the river and this time the two players checked. Suarez revealed J10 for top pair, but lost the pot to Brzezinski's two kings with KK.

On the next hand, Thomas Eychenne made it 200,000 from under the gun, then folded after Brzezinski three-bet to 550,000 from the cutoff.
