The remaining eight players will take a 20-minute break. Here are some highlights from the recent action.
Thomas Eychenne raised to 280,000 from the button before Youssef Zereg three-bet jammed for 985,000 out of the small blind. When it got back to Eychenne, he quickly called to put Zereg at risk.
Youssef Zereg: A♠5♣
Thomas Eychenne: 6♠6♣
Zereg needed to find the ace or he would be the first to be eliminated from the final table.
A flop of 6♦3♠7♦ came down to give Eychenne a set, although Zereg actually increased his amount of outs with a straight draw. However, Zereg was drawing dead on the 7♠ turn as Eychenne improved to a boat. A meaningless J♠ landed on the river, and Zereg headed to the rail to collect his ninth-place payout.

From the hijack, Thomas Eychenne made it 240,000 with A♣7♦ before Sebastian Ionita three-bet the button to 720,000 holding Q♠Q♦. This was enough to get the blinds and Eychenne to fold, and Ionita pulled in the pot.
A few hands later, Anton Suarez min-raised 8♠8♥ to 240,000 from under the gun with Tomasz Brzezinski calling from the next seat with just the 10♣ showing, and Cesar Garcia defending his big blind holding 2♥2♦.
All three players checked the Q♥A♠5♣ flop to see the 5♦ hit the turn. Garcia and Suarez checked again, but Brzezinski bet 360,000. This got two folds from Brzezinski's opponents, and the pot went to him.

Sebastian Ionita picked up K♠K♥ in the hijack but got no action as his raise to 240,000 took down the blinds and ante.
Umberto Zaffagnini then raised to 240,000 in the cutoff with K♣Q♦, and Anton Suarez defended 8♣6♠.
The flop came 7♥5♣2♥ and Zaffagnini bet 275,000. Suarez then raised to 750,000 with his straight draw, but Zaffagnini came back with a reraise to 1,800,000 with just king-high. Suarez folded.

Sergio Carro Marin raised to 240,000 under the gun, but chip leader Anton Suarez picked up K♠K♦ in the cutoff and three-bet to 400,000. Marin folded A♣J♦.
Action then folded to Tomasz Brzezinski in the small blind who moved all in, and Marin called for 1,060,000.
Sergio Carro Marin: K♦J♠
Tomasz Brzezinski: 10♣6♦
The 9♦6♠4♥ flop gave Brzezinski the lead with a pair of sixes, but Marin hit the K♣ on the turn to move in front. The river, though, was the 10♠ to give Brzezinski two pair and the pot, while Marin was sent to the rail in 10th place.
The remaining nine players are drawing for seats at the final table. Levels will switch to hand-for-hand at the final table, with 26 hands remaining in this level before going to 30 hands per level.

On the last hand before the break, Anton Suarez raised to 275,000 from the small blind and Julian Pineda Lozano jammed for his stack of roughly 2,900,000 from the big blind. Suarez instantly called to try and send the Main Event to the final table.
Julian Pineda Lozano: 2♥2♦
Anton Suarez: A♣Q♠
Lozano needed his deuces to win the race versus Suarez's ace-queen to remain in the tournament.
A flop of 7♦10♠K♥ offered Suarez a straight draw, but the 5♣ turn didn't improve his hand. A clean 7♠ peeled off on the river for Lozano, and he doubled up through the chip leader.
