In the final hand of the previous level, Francesco Di Profio made it 125,000 to go on the button. Matas Cimbolas was in the big blind and pushed his stack of 715,000 over the line, which Di Profio quickly called.

Soulier continued for 75,000 on the K♣4♦3♠ flop, which Cimbolas check-raised to 225,000. Soulier tossed in a call to the 10♣ turn, where Cimbolas reverted to a check.

Soulier flicked in a bet of 200,000, causing Cimbolas to quickly get rid of his cards.

Ioannis Oikonomidis and Fabian Bernhauser were heads up on a turn of J♥6♦7♣A♦. After Bernhauser had checked from the big blind, Oikonomidis placed a bet of 150,000, around half the pot, under the gun.

Bernhauser called to the 4♥ river, which he also checked. Oikonomidis then put his opponent all in for 500,000, sending him into the tank.

After several minutes, Bernhauser tossed in a calling chip. Oikonomidis tabled J♠J♦ for a set of jacks, leaving the A♠8♦ of Bernhauser in the dust and sending him to the exit.

Shortly after the hand, Rainer Kempe was eliminated from another table.
