Both players checked the 4♠9♣7♦9♥ board before Souza led out for 6,000 on the 5♠ river. Labat thought momentarily and then raised to 25,000.
Souza used a time bank of his own before sliding out a three-bet totaling 96,000. Labat let it go, and Souza picked up the pot.
Stephen Kehoe raised to 8,000 in the cutoff, and David Vinaya called in the big blind.
On a 9♦7♠2♠ flop, Vinaya worked his remaining 55,000 into the middle, and Kehoe had him at risk of elimination on the bubble.

The situation was bleak for Vinaya, as the bubble loomed large. The 9♠ turn offered no relief, but the 10♦ river arrived just in time to save the day, allowing Vinaya to survive with a double-up.
Brock Wilson had raised to 8,000 in middle position. It folded to Bharath Janardhan in the big blind, who three-bet to 27,000. Wilson called to the 4♦5♣Q♠ flop, where Janardhan continued for 20,000.
Wilson quickly folded. Janardhan allowed his opponent to turn over one of his cards, and Wilson picked the 5♥, much to the amusement of the table.
"I'm here to play the game, bro," Janardhan said to Wilson as he dragged in the pot.
Gerard Carbo raised to 8,000 from middle position and Ankit Ahuja was the only caller from the cutoff.
Carbo bet 12,000 on the A♣5♦Q♠ flop, then 35,000 on the 2♣ turn, and finally fired a third barrel of 77,000 when the 4♣ completed the board.
Ahuja called all three streets and was shown the bad news as Carbo revealed 4♦4♠ for a rivered set of fours to take down the big pot.
Arriving on the 2♥9♦4♠3♥7♦ river, big blind Jonas ten Cate pushed an overbet of 91,000 into a pot of around 75,000. Andrea Dato spent a few moments in the tank before he slammed in a call under the gun.
Ten Cate tabled A♥5♥ for a straight, seeing Dato muck his cards in defeat.
The action was picked up as a series of bets saw Dorian Dizy get his stack of 120,000 into the middle preflop from the cutoff, and he was at risk against Alan Raymundo in middle position.
