When action resumes, the blinds will be 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 big blind ante.

Aaron Gao raised to 6,000 from early position and Claus Pedersen jammed from the small blind for 40,000. Tommaso Briotti called from the big blind, which got Gao to fold.

Pedersen was at risk, but he had the better hand with big slick.
Both players hit an ace on the A♥2♦2♥8♥4♥ runout, but Pedersen's king kicker won him the pot, securing his double-up just before the dinner break.

On a J♠6♠Q♠Q♥8♣ river, Lei Yu bet 36,000 into a pot of 70,000. Iegor Zarev then moved all-in for 105,500, sending Yu deep into the tank.
Yu spent all of his remaining time banks before he elected to let his hand go, surrendering the pot to Zarev.
Meanwhile, at an adjacent table, Kursad Bayrakci became the latest casualty of Day 2.

Anton Wigg raised to 6,500 on the button, and Dean Hutchison defended his big blind.
Wigg continued with a bet of 10,500 after Hutchison checked on the 10♣Q♥A♣, which Hutchison called.
The flush-completing 2♣ joined the board, and this time, Hutchison ceded to Wigg's pressure, as Wigg continued with another bet of 24,000, and Hutchison check-folded.

Gabin Henrion had three-bet an earlier open to 18,500. Alexander Luciani called cold on the button before Boutros Awad four-bet to 80,000 in the small blind. Henrion made a frustrated fold, but Luciani tossed in about half his stack for a call.
Awad instantly shoved on the 6♣3♠K♣ flop. Luciani did not like the cards in the center, and he mucked his cards to concede the pot.

Alonne Michael limped under the gun, and Yurii Zabrodotskyi raised to 15,000 from the small blind. Joakim Andersson called from the big blind before Michael limp-raised to 43,000. Zabrodotskyi got out of the way, and Andersson called.
Andersson checked the Q♦K♥5♣ flop, and Michael quickly gathered up a bet of 35,000. Andersson tanked for quite some time before reluctantly folding and giving up the pot to Michael.

The action was picked up as Mengshi Tian and Ali Abdulzahra tangled in the blinds. All the money went in preflop, with Abdulzahra's stack of roughly 105,000 being the shorter of the two.
