Better Safe Than Sorry

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Leonard Maue limped in from the small blind, and Samuel Ju checked in the big blind.

Both players checked on the 6410 flop, seeing the 2 join the board.

Maue checked for a second time and elected to call when Ju bet 100,000.

The 4 completed the board, and when Maue checked again, Ju checked behind.

Maue tabled A10 for two pair, but was unable to beat Ju's trip fours, holding 74.

Maue Finds River Value as Mestre Calls Jack-High

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Raul Mestre limped in from the small blind, and Leonard Maue checked his option in the big blind. The duo checked through the A48 flop and 4 turn, and Mestre checked again on the K river.

Maue flicked in a bet of 100,000, however, which Mestre called after some thought.

Maue showed down K3 for a rivered pair, and Mestre quietly sent his J5 into the muck.

Raise and Take It

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The action folded to Samuel Ju on the button, who moved all in for 2,575,000 holding A7.

With neither player in the blinds interested in offering any action, Ju scooped in the blinds uncontested.

It was a similar story a couple of hands later, as Leonard Maue opened under the gun with AK. Again, nobody else got involved, and Maue added the blinds to his stack.

When Fan checked on the 25J flop, Binder continued for 85,000, and Fan called.

Both players checked on the A turn, which encouraged Fan to lead out for 185,000 on the 5 river. Binder elected to call, and was able to beat Fan's 86 with his K2.

Xavier Cortazar looked down at his cards on the button and raised to 125,000. Leonard Maue defended the big blind, and a 276 flop was fanned.

Maue checked it over to Cortazar, who pushed in a continuation-bet of 175,000. Maue then put his opponent all-in for 910,000 and was snap-called.

Xavier Cortazar: 1010 All in
Leonard Maue: 75

Maue turned an open-ender on the 4, but the 6 river remained clean for Cortazar to double up.

Rizov Gets Mestre Off Chop

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Raul Mestre was in the hijack and raised to 125,000 with 98. Miroslav Rizov fancied a flop with 97 in the big blind and tossed in calling chips.

Mestre flopped two pair on 9Q8 and continued for another 125,000. Rizov check-called, after which the Q turn was checked by both players.

Rizov then fired 375,000 on the 2 river, unknowingly playing the same hand as his opponent. Mestre went deep into the tank, spending no fewer than four time banks before folding his cards.

Fan Misclicks, Binder Extends Lead Again

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Longmao Fan opened to 120,000 in the hijack and faced immediate resistance when Bernhard Binder three-bet to 360,000 in the cutoff. The action returned to Fan, who called.

On a J10K flop, Fan checked, Binder continued for 175,000, and Fan raised to 300,000 before the dealer advised that it needed to be 50,000 more for the raise to be legal. He flicked in the extra, and Binder called.

The J turn saw Fan revert to checking, and this time he folded when Binder put a bet of 500,000 into the middle.

Malpelli and Fan Win on Rivers

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Bernhard Binder raised it up to 135,000 on the button. Jose Malpelli called in the big blind and check-called Binder's continuation-bet of 90,000 on the 3QK flop.

The 10 turn and K river were subsequently checked to showdown, where Malpelli's 99 raked in the pot.

A few hands later, Roman Stoica limped in from the small blind, and big blind Longmao Fan checked his option. Stoica checked the 545 flop over to Fan, who bet 60,000. Stoica called to the A turn, where both players knuckled the table.

Stoica checked a third time on the J river. Fan reaggressed with a bet of 225,000, and Stoica tossed in a call after some time in the tank. Fan tabled top pair with A7, taking down the pot when Stoica frusratedly mucked his cards.

Rizov Doesn't Back Down

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Miroslav Rizov opened to 120,000 from the cutoff holding A9, and found himself facing a three-bet from Leonard Maue in the big blind. Maue made it 300,000 to go, holding K2, and the action was back on Rizov.

After careful consideration, Rizov sent it all, moving all in for 885,000, and Maue quickly folded.
