Nearly 500 Players Chase the Money on Day 2 of the EPT Paris Main Event
The 464 players who return for Day 2 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris Main Event at noon local time all have one goal: make it to the money.
The official prize pool should be confirmed shortly after the start of the day, and the players who have packed Le Palais des Congrès over the past few days will finally find out what they are playing for. A total of 1,411 players have entered so far, but with late registration still open until the call of “Shuffle Up and Deal,” the field should grow substantially.
Mahersh Selvakumaran sits atop the leaderboard at the start of the day with 448,500, far ahead of the rest of the pack. Day 1a chip leader Thomas Cazayous is his closest challenger with 385,000, while Endrit Geci (348,500), Graeme Newman (345,000), and Gabriel Nahum (334,500) round out the top five.
