Thibaut Fixari had raised his button when Gabriel Nahum made it 10,000 to go from the small blind. Fixari called, and the dealer fanned the 46Q flop.

Nahum continued for 7,500 on the flop, which Fixari called. Nahum sized up to 17,000 on the 5 turn, seeing Fixari flick in another call.

Nahum then pushed all in on the J river. Fixari's stack of 41,700 was covered, and he needed a minute to think things through. After a while, he tossed in a single chip for a call.

Nahum showed AA for an overpair. Fixari stood up and left the tournament area, with the dealer flipping up his Q10 to confirm the elimination.

Moukawem remained ahead through the turn on a board of JK7K and was a card away from a double-up, but Ruijs spiked the A on the river to make aces-up. Moukawem flung his arms in the air in frustration and let out a loud sigh as he stormed to the exit.

Kostic Takes a Chunk Off Punsri, Jahn Finishes the Job

The turn was the 5 and Punsri checked to Kostic, who bet 6,000. Punsri called and checked again on the 2 river, and this time Kostic bet 10,000. Punsri again called, and Kostic showed AQ for top pair to win the pot.

The next hand, Soenke Jahn opened to 2,000 under the gun, Punsri shoved for 15,000 in early position, and Jahn called.

The turn was the 10 and Al Fakih bet 35,000. Paniak only had around 3,000 remaining and called for his last chips, turning over A3 for a flush draw. Pavlov had AQ for top pair, while Al Fakih was ahead with 66 for a set.

The 9 river improved Al Fakih to a full house, and Pavlov and Paniak were both sent to the rail.

Chen gave it some thought before he reluctantly mucked his cards, leaving Ruijs to take the large side pot and show down for the main pot with Ievchenko.

Louis Vlamynck bet 1,700 from the hijack on a flop of 109Q, and Daniel Falus called in the cutoff. Jean Surlemont then raised to 5,600 in the big blind, and both opponents called.

The turn was the A, and Surlemont checked to Vlamynck, who bet 22,000. Falus then moved all in for 48,600, and Surlemont folded, but Vlamynck quickly called to put Falus at risk.

Falus showed KJ for the nut straight, while Vlamynck had QQ for a set. Falus needed to avoid the board pairing on the river, and he dodged the 5 as he slammed the table in celebration and earned the massive double-up.
