Finger Out

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Martin Finger
Martin Finger

Martin Finger has been eliminated shortly after running {q-}{q-} into the {a-}{a-} of Kiryl Radzivonau.

Nothing came on the flop, turn or river that could get him out of this cooler and he was left with just a few big blinds which were committed soon after to no avail.

Zhang Busts Two In Huge Pot

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Pedro Marques opened for 40,000 and to his left was Marko Neumann who shoved all in for 442,000. Ji Zhang hung his head and looked like he was agonising over the decision, looking over his shoulder at the tournament clock as if making calculations before moving all in as well for 700,000. Marques wasted little time in calling to put his stack of 600,000 at risk.

Zhang wanted to make sure that Marques had called and the cards were on their backs. Neumann had {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, Marques had {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Zhang’s acting exploits were explained when he turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}.

The cards ran out {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Zhang punched the air as he scooped a huge pot and busted two players.

Double for Dato

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

On the turn of an {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Clubs} board, Dominik Panka was happy to get the chips in with {A-Spades}{J-Hearts} against Andrea Dato but the Ialian held {K-Spades}{10-Spades} for a straight with a flush redraw.

The river was the {4-Clubs} and Dato doubled up.

Nicolau Eliminated by Seven Deuce

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

On a flop of {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} Sakis Nicolau shoved for his last 126,000. It took a little bit of thought but Hossein Ensan made the call. Nicolau had hit top pair with {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Ensan was on a draw with the old {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The turn {4-Clubs} and river {9-Diamonds} missed the flush draw but hit the straight.

Haenraets: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}
Kitai: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Haenraets eliminated the former EPT Berlin champion right on the break.
