After an early-position raise to 525, Oleksii Kovalchuk reraised from middle position to 1,300. Action then folded to David Boyaciyan on the button, and he reraised to 2,400. Everyone folded, and Boyaciyan won the pot.
The powers that be have decided that if Mohsin Charania is going to defend his EPT Grand Final title he's going to have to do it the hard way. That's because he's sat with Liv Boreee, David Sands, Byron Kaverman, John O'Shea and Andrew Lichtenberger. The table is still intact despite reservations shown by some of the table at the beginning of play.
He did manage to win a pot off Sands before he was involved in the very next hand that went to Lichtenberger.
Sands opened to 500 and Charania called from the small blind en route to a 
flop. Sands continued for 750 and Charania check-called before leading for 1,650 on the 
turn. Sands took his time and folded.
The next hand saw Elie El Feghali limp from under the gun and Kaverman raise to 725 from the hijack. Charania called from the button before Lichtenberger raised to 2,500. His raise got no respect as all three opponents called to the 
flop.
Lichtenberger continued for 3,100 and only El Feghali called. The turn came 
and Lichtenberger bet 5,600. Call. El Feghali had 24,000 chips remaining by the time he saw the river fall and Lichtenberger set him in for the lot. He folded.

Melanie Weisner was unlucky to be eliminated by after a big pre flop showdown.
There was a mid-position raise before Weisnser three-bet to 1,800 from the small blind. The big blind put in a big four-bet to 10,000. The original raiser folded, but Weisner shoved for 45,000 with pocket queens.
The big blind called with ace-queen and turned an ace to scoop the huge pot and take the scalp.

He came late and he's leaving early. Shaun Deeb's day lasted a little longer than two levels.
It was former EPT London champion, Aaron Gustavson, who did the damage. Gustavson raised from the cut-off and Deeb peeled from the small blind to see a 
flop fall.
Gustavson continued for 1,000 and was check-raised up to 2,500. His answer was to three-bet to 4,200 and move all in after Deeb raised to 7,500. Deeb had 15,000 and called off his remaiming stack with for top pair.
It wasn't any good though as Gustavson opened and safely navigated the 
turn and river.
