Eminoglu Gets Bluffed on Turn

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With 60,000 in pot and the board showing {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}, Yucel Eminoglu bet 55,000 from the big blind, leaving 80,000 behind. Gary Whitehead in the cutoff jammed for 145,000 which sent Eminoglu into a spin.

Eminoglu interrogated his opponent, with his tanking going deep into the break. The verbal barrage did not stop and eventually the clock was called. "You can only have ace-queen, would you do this ace-king?" quizzed Eminoglu. "You must know I have two pair," Whitehead remained statuesque.

Eminoglu folded before the clock ran out and Whitehead tabled his {k-Spades}{9-Spades} which erupted the onlooking players. Eminoglu said "I made a very bad fold," while Whitehead was congratulated by his table mates.

The 500-value chips are also being raced off.

Yiannis Liperis was all in for 175,000 holding {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} against the {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Joshua Boulton.

There was no help for Liperis as the baord came {7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Liperis was eliminated.

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Daniel Illingworth moved all-in for 27,000 and was called by the Jiaze Li cutoff. Illingworth had {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and was up against {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Illingworth failed to connect on the tc4c3s7hkh] runout.

Ivor Sampson doubled with his {k-Hearts}{4-Spades}, besting Tina Bandyle's {a-Spades}{k-Spades} after the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

On the opposite table Day 1a chip leader Renee Xie was all-in from the small blind for her last 500 chips. Gary Whitehead was in the big blind and they were off to a run out.

Renee Xie: {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Gary Whitehead: {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Whitehead would remain best after completed board displayed {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{k-Spades}.

Loosli Doubles Up

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Sylvain Loosli was all in and at risk for 86,500 holding {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} against the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} of Jiten Chauhan.

The flop {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} quickly put Loosli in front and he held on the ensuing {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} runout.

The tournament chip leader appears to be Paul Trotter, and he sits at the same table as the pair of them.
