Taylor Finally Eliminated With Kings Cracking Aces

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Guy Taylor
Guy Taylor

With Guy Taylor all-in preflop, Chris Da Silva and C F did battle once again. C F check-called 21,000 on the {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop, but snap-folded after checking to Da Silva and seeing another bet.

Da Silva turned over {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for a turned set, while Taylor held {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}.

The river {5-Spades} bricked and Taylor was eliminated.

Chung Hits River to Felt Broadbent

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Timothy Chung raised from early position before calling the 60,000 all-in from Noel Broadbent.

Noel Broadbent: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Timothy Chung: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

Chung out-flopped the ladies after the {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} hit the felt. Broadbent then made a better two pair thanks to the {2-Hearts} turn. The {7-Clubs} hit the river for Chung to boat up and seal the bust out.

Law Busts Campbell

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Leon Campbell was pleading with the dealer for a jack having gotten all in for his last 50,000 with {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} against the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} of Chun Law.

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Campbell became one of the first eliminations in the money, taking home £2,400.

James Ivall Bubbles GUKPT London Main Event

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

James Ivall, a Grosvenor qualifer, put in his last 11,500 chips on the button and the big blind called.

James Ivall: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
G A: {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

James Ivall paired up on the {6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop but he was still vulnerable to his opponent's overcard and straight draw. The {j-Diamonds} gave the big blind a straight but Ivall picked up some flush outs.

The {10-Clubs} offered no help and he became the unfortunate bubble boy.

Taylor Doubles Up Again

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Guy Taylor had been forced all-in from the big blind for the second orbit in a row. C F and Chris Da Silva were both in the hand and had checked down the board of {7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

Da Silva showed {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}, C F showed {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Taylor took great glee in flicking the assembled croud the V's, tabling {7-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a pair of sevens and doubling up again.

Boatman's Turn to Double

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

With 55,000 in the pot and the board displaying {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Spades}, Steve Jelinek checked in the small blind and Barny Boatman moved all-in for his last 25,500.

After a few minutes of thinking, Jelinek called. Boatman had {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a full house while Jelinek had pocket fives.

Another Bubble Double

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Bixi Yao was the latest person to have moved all in, this time for 38,000 and she had been called in the next position by Yudhishter Jaswal.

Bixi Yao: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Yudhishter Jaswal: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

It was a flip that Yao would need to win, and the board came {2-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs} ensuring her continued survival.

Taylor Forced All-In

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Guy Taylor was forced all-in from the big blind and Mark Hawes raised to isolate Taylor to make it heads-up.

Guy Taylor: {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Mark Hawes: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Taylor flopped best following the {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop. He had Hawes drawing dead on the {8-Spades} turn with the {6-Spades} river being a formality.
