Lawrence Out, Reichard In

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
Josh Reichard
Josh Reichard

Everett Lawrence got his last 5,600 in preflop out of the blinds and was called in two spots. His opponents in late position checked down {9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts} until the cutoff finally bet the river into a dry side pot and forced a fold. That player showed {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for runner trips and Lawrence mucked his {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} face up.

At the next table over, Josh Reichard took a seat. He won this event when it was held in December 2018 for over $220K, and he already had nearly 50,000 moments later. According to the players at the table, Reichard flopped quads the first hand he sat and busted someone.

Ralph Massey Unlucky Versus Puccio

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

On a {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, three players checked to Mike Puccio on the button, and he bet 5,000 into about 6,500. The small blind called, another player folded, and Ralph Massey woke up with a big raise to 19,000 in the hijack. Puccio jammed for 36,900 and Massey snap-called after the other player folded.

Ralph Massey: {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Mike Puccio: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Massey had the best of it with top two but it ran out {j-Spades}, {j-Hearts} to give Puccio jacks up and a double.

Miles Busted

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

We found TK Miles all in for about 5,000 with {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} in front of him, the board reading {10-}{9-}{4-}{4-} with two clubs. An opponent with {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} had him at risk, though we didn't see when the money went in. The river was a {j-} and Miles headed straight to reenter and then grabbed a new seat at Table 2.

Gaspard Bests Pupillo in Three-Bet Pot

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante
Prince Gaspard
Prince Gaspard

Nick Pupillo opened for 1,300 in the cutoff and Prince Gaspard made it 3,000 on his left. They went heads up to {3-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} and Pupillo check-called 4,300. On the {8-Clubs} turn, he check-called 5,000 more. On the {4-Clubs} river, Gaspard fired a final shell of 10,000.

Pupillo shook his head and Gaspard held out his hand after flicking in the chips, like a basketball player holding a follow through.

"Don't look at me, look at the hand," Gaspard said. "That's my follow through."

Pupillo thought it over and splashed in a call, but he couldn't beat Gaspard's {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

"I'm the worst black player to ever play this game," Gaspard declared, turning to Ty Reiman. "Ain't I the worst black player you've ever seen?"

"I plead the fifth," Reiman said.
