Douglas Culligan raised to 675,000 from the button and an all-in followed from Cathal Shine in the small blind, for 1,260,000. Culligan asked for a count and quickly made the call after some thinking time.

Shine immediately flopped top pair on 10♦6♠2♠, leaving only runner-runner opportunities for his opponent. However, Culligan was drawing dead on the 3♠ turn, and the 4♣ river was but a formality.

Shine chipped up to over 20 big blinds, while the roller coaster ride of Culligan continued as he was left with just ten of them.
