Nicholas Newport and Yue Wang were heads up on a flop of 2♠9♦4♦. Newport sat in the big blind and check-raised Wang's continuation-bet from early position. Wang made the call, creating a pot of 95,000 in the process.
Newport slowed down tih a check on the Q♠ turn and Wang quickly followed suit. The 10♣ river then completed the board, prompting Newport to bet once more, this time for 50,000 chips.
A quick call followed from Wang and Newport tabled his 5♦3♦ for a busted straight draw. Wang showed down A♦10♥ for a rivered pair of tens and raked in the big pot, much to the frustration of Newport.

Ian Gascoigne opened for 11,000 from early position and Seamus Doherty came along from the button. Andrew Hedley then three-bet to 44,000, which only Doherty called.
The flop came 4♥7♠10♦. Hedley put 55,000 chips in the middle, exactly enough to put Doherty all-in. Doherty did not like the situation but put in his chips anyway, claiming that he had "nothing."
Seamus Doherty: K♣Q♠
Andrew Hedley: A♠Q♦
Both players did not have anything yet as it turned out, but Hedley had the superior high-card hand. The 7♣ turn did nothing for either player, while the Q♣ river saw them both hit two pair.
Hedley's kicker still played, resulting in the elimination of Doherty, who was sent to the exit in the penultimate level of Day 1c.

A big pot of 130,000 chips had already been gathered when the action was caught on the completed board of A♦8♥J♣4♠A♠. Dermot Allen had shoved all-in for 44,500 from early position and Liam McVeigh was weighing his options in the next seat over.
Eventually, McVeigh tossed in a call. Allen tabled A♣7♦ for trip aces and McVeigh's cards swiftly hit the muck.

Steven Bartley limped in from under the gun and Lukas Robinson made it 14,000 to go. The action folded back to Bartley, who quickly made the call.
Robinson continued for 10,000 chips on the 10♣8♦J♥ flop, and Bartley swiftly called again. Both players then checked the K♠ turn before the 2♠ river rolled off.
Bartley took the betting lead by putting 10,500 chips in the middle, and this time it was Robinson who called as quick as lightning.
Bartley showed down 6♠6♥ for a pair of sixes, but it was no good against the K♥9♥ of Robinson, who had turned top pair.

Jaye Renehan made it 8,000 to go from the small blind before Barry McMahon three-bet to 33,000 from the big blind. Renehan obliged with the extra chips and the pair saw 3♣6♣10♥ emerge from the deck as the flop.
Renehan checked, after which McMahon continued for 25,000. An instant call followed from his opponent, leading to both players checking the subsequent 5♦ turn.
On the K♠ river, Renehan checked once more, but McMahon had other plans and shoved in his stack of 71,000. Renehan played only a little more, and swiftly let his hand go to conserve his stack.

PokerNews' Lukas Robinson raised to 8,000 from the hijack and the action folded to Shane O'Neill, who defended his big blind.
On the 9♣10♣K♦ flop, Robinson continued for 6,000 chips and O'Neill check-called that bet. He shifted gears on the 3♦ turn, however, as he led out for 15,000. Robinson considered the situation for a bit before putting in the call.
The Q♠ river then completed the board and both players checked in quick succession. O'Neill declared that he had ace-high, after which Robinson tabled Q♥10♠ to take down the pot.
